Disclaimer: I have a lot of TAPO devices (I really mean a lot). Due to my work, I have a tendancy to move a lot. So changing alarm system on a regular basis can be a pain. And I stumbled onto TAPO a year ago (and changed houses during that year) and clearly, it's really easy to set up. I have 2 of these currently installed on doors, and they work really nicelly, instant notification on my phone when the door opens, when it stays open, when it closes. Simple to install into the app, really responsiv, it adds a nice layer of security to our house. As we moved houses last summer, I removed all of our TAPO products from our previous home and installed them in the new one. No issues to transfer and removing the T110 from their previous spots showed the high quality of the adhesive. They stayed in place nicelly and when removed, the adhesive was easy to clean off ! I recently bought the TAPO H500 directly from TP-Link and switched the T110 from the previous base to the H500 without any compatibility problem. Everything went smoothly. All in all, easy to install, reliable, cheap and long lasting !!

I love Tapo smart sensors, there one of the best in the industry for ease of setup, integration, price point, reliability and design. I'd rate the T110 a 4.5, I use Tapo devices with the Tapo smart hub T100. whilst reliable the detection takes approx. 3.5 seconds - not sure if this is due to round trip latency or intentional battery life optimisation but certainly good enough for what I need it for. The 3M mounting stickers are at least in my opinion a bit on the thick side and would of preferred something half as thick for a tighter bond but ofc easily corrected. It works perfectly with home assistant using the TP-link integration. Recommended.

I’ve got two of these sensors fitted on the front and back door. After over a year of use, I’ve only just had a low battery warning on the front door, which is easily the busiest in the house. While the back one is still going strong, very impressed so far. The automation features through the Tapo app open up loads of possibilities. With kids constantly running in and out, it's great to get alerts when a door has been left open. It gives a real peace of mind knowing the house is secure and helps keep the heat in too. Additionally the alarm trigger for unauthorised entry works perfectly as well and can be set while away or set times i.e Late/AM. See video. One of my main concerns was whether the sensor would fit properly, as our doors aren’t completely flush. Thankfully, even with the gap as pictured (Claims to support 15mm), they still register open and close accurately. While I’m only using them on doors, they’d also be handy for checking that windows are closed while you are out if that's what you need. Pros: - Quick and easy to install/configure - Battery replacement is straightforward - Reliable detection - Affordable Cons: Needs a Tapo Hub to work, but on the plus side, the hub doubles as an alarm and supports plenty of other Tapo devices if you plan to expand your setup like I have.

Pros : It's compact and unobtrusive Easy to set up Battery powered so no cables Responds quickly Has a good range Integrates well with Alexa (which compensates for its limited programming options) Cons: Using just the tplink app, it will only switch a light on (if that's what you want it to trigger) for 2 minutes, and then it switches it off. That's good when you want a light on briefly, but no good if you want it to turn a light on in a room for a longer time! It's a pity the ball joint isn't on a longer arm which would increase options of where to mount it. You can set the sensor to delay re-trigger up to 60s. Pity it can't be set much longer (why on earth not?) - that would prolong battery life further too. It can trigger another action - trigger an alarm - but I didn't want it for that function. **************** Using it with Alexa gives you a lot of flexibility. I use it to switch on the lights in a room as you walk into it (via Alexa you can set the active routine hours, and set how long the light stays on if there is no motion). Useful for security too since it means any security cameras in the room have good light if an intruder comes in when the alarm is set (most security cameras aren't that good in very low light). I very much recommend this product

The Tapo Sensor is one of the most multi functional and affordable devices there is. It’s tiny size makes it even better, you can do so much with it. I personally have 2 of them at the minute, one of them when triggered turns on my bathroom light saving me hunting for the switch during the night and the other turns on our kitchen floor light that works with the tapo plug. There’s a little green light on the sensor that lets you know that you triggered the sensor, the battery does last for a whole year and the sensor does pick up motion from quite a distance, i was amazed at how far it picks up. Included is a strong adhesive and some kind of flat piece of metal that you use to open up the back of the sensor to change the battery. Overall this is a great little device. Just a quick note: AN ADDITIONAL DEVICE IS REQUIRED TO UNABLE AUTOMATION

A big fan of the Tapo brand — it never disappoints. This sensor needs to be connected to a Tapo hub and is fully compatible with it. The quality-to-price ratio is excellent, and the battery is said to last a long time — we’ll see how that goes over time. The adhesive is very strong, so make sure to check the placement carefully before attaching it, as it’s hard to remove afterward — which I actually find great. Since I installed it on my door, I feel confident it won’t come off. Notifications arrive instantly, making it a reliable and reassuring product.

Es muy sencillo de instalar con el. Hub y puedes compartir el dispositivo imagínate tener dos viviendas juntas.
