Jufran Banana Sauce Bottles, 12 Ounce (Pack of 3)

The only bad thing that happened is, One bottle was broken. It was the one in the bottom of the box. Other than that everything was good.

The flavor of this banana sauce/ketchup is great and a little spicy. I am so happy to be able to purchase it on Amazon. I discovered it in Belize about 15 years ago. It has replaced ketchup as a condiment in our home, and often, in recipes that call for the use of some ketchup. It does come out of the bottle a little gloppy, so don't let that surprise you. Just shake the bottle a lot and know that it will not be super smooth like ketchup is.

The flavor is amazing!! I love using the sauce. I've ordered it in the past but unfortunately I can't get refunded or I can't return the product because it is a food product.The package come a with a small bubble wrap with all three of the sauces together. I opened the Amazon box and pulled out the sauce bag. I noticed that one bottle was cracked and as I went to set it on the counter a piece of glass cut my finger actually kind of deep. Unfortunately I paid for 3 bottles and I can only actually use 2. So just a warning be careful when you unwrap the packaging;(

Middle bottle out of the 3 was smashed, bottles did have bubble wrap but in a big box without any extra packing to stop them moving around.Thick consistency which makes it a challenge to get out of the bottle at times, fabulous depth of flavor, it has everything in perfect balance, would recommend this as THE ketchup, not an alternative.

Picture this: Sunday dinner of roast beef, potatoes and green beans. As the family sits down, I placed a bottle of banana sauce on the table. This is not exactly a typical item on an Italian table. My sister, the cook of the day watched closely as I opened the bottle and poured some on my plate. I dipped my roasted potatoes in the sauce but she became intrigued as I dipped cut pieces of the beef. We both agree the flavor is more savory than .ketchup and it has a little kick to it. High marks as a condiment. This week I'll try it as a marinade. Great price; high value and shipped well. Imagine that, folks

Initially, I was leery to order this because there are so many reviews about the bottles arriving broken and the product not being returnable. I decided to go ahead with the order though. The bottles came perfectly intact. Each individual bottle was wrapped tightly in a sticky bubble wrap and placed inside a box. The bubble wrap was so sticky that it did pull a little off the label when removing it, but the bottles were fine. The best part is that my husband has finally found a replacement for tomato ketchup! He really enjoys this flavor. The sauce is very thick and the neck of this bottle is extremely thin making it difficult to pour. I used a long straw-like stick to help pull the sauce out of the bottle and put it into a different container that we can spoon it out of instead.

This is such a great sauce! I used it on garlic bread pizza and wow it was great!! I think this sauce will come in handy with most of my recipes. Would be good used in making a barbecue sauce or even marinade on chicken or pork.
