Make and Do project
PSU holder is strange. Tried 4 or 5 big brands and it doesn't hold them well. GPU holder is a good idea, but the gap between the two upright supports stops you inserting a cable for your VGA out, HDMI out etc. Again, over a month or two I have tried several so it is not any particular card's fault. It is a time consuming make and do project and I have a degree in Engineering, so God help everyday people without a technical background. No need for it as it ships in a box which would be no bigger after it is constructed, just poor design, full stop. Really struggles with ATX board sand really is only suited for use with mATX. Mainboard mounts need you to strain the frame to get them to line up properly. Could do with a plastic peg and latch system instead of screws. It is a test bench after all. If it is as much work to mount on it as it is in a case, then you're as well off trying your luck in the case in the first place? If it was a tenner, you could forgive it, but at full price represents no value whatsoever.

Good but could do with some minor improvements
I'm always fiddling about with old motherboards and components and got fed up having to take a hefty case apart every time. This is a neat way of assembling bits and bobs without too much hassle. It's advertised as being for mini-itx boards (17x17cm) but I managed to squeeze an ancient micro-atx (24x20cm) on (see photos). It comes with a good selection of extra fittings. Except the plastic 90 degree brackets. You'll need to find extra alternatives for those if you want to add an additional hard drive. The motherboard risers can be a bit fiddly to get in the correct positions as there are no preset positions.Comes with a power and reset switch, and a power and hard drive led to attach to the front panel connector. My biggest worry is the power supply though. This could do with a bracket to fit it more securely.Seems a little on the expensive side for a bunch of rods, brackets and screws. But on the whole, I'm glad I bought it.

Nice simple frame, and quite customisable
This is exactly what I was look for. A lot of these open frame kits are quite expensive, especially since they’re using a lot of off-the-shelve components, but this one was reasonably priced.Super simple to put together, but if you want your board square, expect to measure, slide and repeat for the motherboard mounting points quite a bit. It’s a pain we pay for fully customisable frames.Kit states M-ITX motherboards only, but I deliberately didn’t pay attention to that, and it works fine for my mATX board. There is a thin gap making cable management a possibility, but you will need flat cables. A project for another day.Obviously thermals are great. It’s open frame. Old case had 3x120mm noctua fans. 2 in intake, 1 on exhaust. Since moving all to the frame, got a 400 point bump on 3dMark time spy, which I’ll quite happily take.I was worried I might need to make power/reset switches, but kit came with those as well as HDD and Power LEDs.Very happy with it.

Parts are of good quality, but instructions could be better
I grabbed this as a stop gap case while I rebuild my main rig which is housed in a NCase M1.The quality of the materials are good, no warping of the bars or missing pieces.I will say that the instructions are a little simplistic and could do with a little more detail, often it was assumed that you would know how / have done certain things. Also you want to make sure you set aside an hour to put this together and mount your hardware! One of the graphics card holder bars actually came in the way of my display outputs so I was forced to use one instead of two, but it still feels solid.
