1803 Candles - 14 oz. Jar Soy Candles - (Honeysuckle Vines)

I LOVE these candles. The scents are amazing and strong. Mistletoe scent smells just like a pine Christmas tree. I saw these candles initially at a farm market inside the gift shop. They were selling them for $18 which is the same price on 1803 candles website but you will pay xtra for shipping. It comes to around the same price with shipping here, so decided to purchase on Amazon. Their marked up though. If I didn't love these candles so much I wouldn't of paid xtra. Check your boutiques for these.

I was ready to love this candle, but the scent when lit is not for me. It is one note and harsh. When not lit, it is pleasant and had a combination of wonderful holiday scents. That’s one of the reasons I was so disappointed in the fragrance when lit, I guess. It was a lot of money to pay for a candle I don’t like. Of note, there is no black smoke, the size of the candle was larger than expected, and it seems to burn quite slowly. These would be wonderful attributes if only the smell were tolerable! Won’t buy again unfortunately. For reference, I purchased and tried Mistletoe Kisses, Vintage Harvest, and Christmas at the Farm. Vintage Harvest was most tolerable but had less throw than the others. Christmas at the Farm smelled great unlit, but was the worst of the three when lit. I will add that I have purchase the Spirit of Christmas oil and reed diffuser in the past and that is amazing. It is one of the top two holiday scents for me and I keep it out year round. I haven’t tried the candle yet but hope it is as good as the diffuser. Hope you have better luck than I did!

I bought this for a friend of mine in a cute little shop in Galena, Illinois and loved it so much I almost kept it. But then thought about good old Amazon. Yep....they were there AND cheaper. So of course I bought one for myself and will probably buy more for gifts. The aroma fills my room and is not sickeningly sweet like most scented candles. Amazon has a ton of scents (more than the cute little Galena shops.

Fragrance is so refreshing and clean. Love it for the holidays, but honestly, I used it whenever there are lingering kitchen odors. If you like to burn candles and you'll be cooking and know that there will be odors (frying, roasting) afterwards, this is the candle to use. It doesn't just mask, it seems to clean the air. And it really is a year-round clean, refreshing fragrance.

Let me start by saying 1803 candles are hands down my favorite. I stick to the spicy scents like spice box and cabin on the hill. I've purchased this candle from the actual distributor quite a bit, which is the only reason I'm giving an honest review here. The scent is so so faint that I can't even smell it unless I'm literally sniffing the jar. These candles normally permeate my entire small house. I'm so disappointed that I spent $30 on this.

Sadly, this candle smells like the house is on fire. I am so disappointed. My first one was heavenly.

I love the scent of this candle. It smells like Christmas. I burn this year round, it always smells like I just baked cookies or waffles.
