The premise is fanciful, but the characters are real, and the ending doesn’t disappoint.

Unique plot
After seeing her son commit a crime, Jen begins waking up each day moving backwards in time. Each previous day she lands on brings new clues and information about events and people leading up to the crime. Her hope is to find out how to prevent this crime from ever happening. But what she finds out also changes her life in unexpected ways. This book kept getting better because the twists just kept on coming. It also delved into what might happen if you change something during time travel. What expected and unexpected consequences might happen? Not only was this a well written story, it also makes you think about things you notice and don’t notice as you live your life and what would be different if you changed one thing.

Great vacay read
Time travel? You might think sci-fi. It's not. Mom and I both loved it. Great characters and lots of turns. Fun read.

Slow start, good ending
The concept of the good is unique so initially it pulled my interest, but quickly, it moved slowly becoming repetitive. However, about halfway through it picked up and became a bot of a page turner. If you have the time and patience to give the book time to take form, it'll be worth the delay.

Interesting story
I had a hard time getting into this story and it didn't make sense at first. Its about a mother who witnessed her son committing murder. She is shocked as he is a good. Some how she travels back in time to unravel the reason for the crime. She discovers many things about he t spouse and her father. Its a compelling read. I enjoyed it.

unputdownable
This is a bit of a rollercoaster ride, it picks up speed until you’re nearly as desperate as the MC to figure out what’s happening, one of the best books I’ve read this year.

Plot twist after plot twist
I'm sure I have never read a book like this before! The idea was amazing and brilliantly written: time travel, thriller and parenting comes together to make something incredible. It is unputdownable and yoi will be surprised every time as new facts come to the surface. Best thriller I've read so far this year!

I couldn’t put this book down
This is the perfect read at the end of a long day. Gillian’s writing immediately transported me from my home into the world of her main character, Jen. I loved all the connecting pieces and it really was an easy but interesting story to follow.

A beautiful thriller of recent times
I randomly came across this and the title caught my curiosity. But it turned out to be one of my favourite thrillers of all time. The book starts pretty slow but soon catches on the speed. A mother, who sees her son stab a stranger. Before she could take it all in and make sense of what is happening , her son gets charged for murder. Who is the person? How can her beloved son become a murder? How could she not see? She is determined to find out answers and prove for herself and the world that her son is innocent. Instead when she wakes up it is the day before...The time travel element added to the murder mystery is a wonderful combination. The author pulls this of with such ease and keeps you guessing throughout the book. The portrayal of the intricate feelings and emotions of the characters is beautiful. I would recommend this to anyone who loves thrillers and also those who want to get started with psychological thrillers. It is a simple and interesting one without anything gory or dark.
