This is very good at retaining its heat, as the dome fits closely, and is also not tapered in to restrict the useable space, which is good. I am using it to germinate a variety of seeds, and several pots are now developing their first "true" leaves, growing on strongly. The amount of heating is obviously just right for them. I would recommend it

There are no many choices to choose on Amazon when it comes to heated propagators. This one is basically the only one there. Anyway, quality and material seems really good ,feels solid. Not made from cheep thin plastic or similar material. The floor temperature is very low so no chance of overheating.Overall is good quality product.

Using this to help get some carnivorous plants out of dormancy and grow some seeds. Builds a really high humidity easily even with the ventilator windows open. Plugs straight into the wall and worked immediately. Happy with it!

I had some seeds from abroad which were not coming through, two days in the propagator and just starting to come through. Very pleased.

I love this product and will buy another when they are available again. Simply fill with soil, plant seeds, cover and plug in. Take off the cover for aFew hours a day to dry out the soil because it creates its own micro climate with plenty of moisture and you don’t want it too wet. My seeds started emerging after just 3 days.
