Good looking splint and small
First I'll start by saying that it is not clear plastic but instead an opaque plastic. That is not a deal breaker especially for this splint that is small and looks really durable. I got it, tried it on (I measured the diameter of my DIP, around my injured area on my pinky finger) and fell between sizes 1 and 2. In reality I was closer to size 2 but I didn't want to end up with a big splint that moved around ... I listened to the instructions though and I'm happy I did. Fits great, it's small so you're not walking around with a huge ugly splint.Like a few other reviews have mentioned, no one likes to wear a splint but I had to I would definitely prefer this one over others. Looks good

works great for mallet finger
easy to measure your finger using string and then put that up to a centimeter tape. I think i found the measurement chart on another site but it all worked great. i jammed my finger and got mallet finger and was using those bulky splints in the store, then made my own with tongue depressor sanded down and tape..They worked but had to use gloves doing anything with water and the store bought splint was so bulky i had a hard time driving w/o my signal going every which way!! This thing is waterproof!! (injury to left hand middle finger)

Itâs yuge
Size 7 what? This thing was huge. Ring finger is an 11 so thought 7 would be around what I needed. This thing could fit the thumb of an NBA player.

contoured for lade or delicate fingers- otherwise not bad
I followed the size instructions, and the basic diameter was good. However, the contour tapers in more than my man finger does. I work in an office and have pretty average fingers- but they don't taper in like more delicate hands. This makes for a jam at the end of the otherwise perfect fit. I tried putting it in hot water to reshape it, and it's not that kind of plastic. I then took a dremmil tool to it, and made it workable, but not as good as I'd hope for. Well conceived, but does not fit me very well- and I followed the measurements exactly. A larger size would not have fit me.

Good splint
Works well. It was recommended by my PA friend. I ordered a size 1 first because my measurement matched up but it was too small. Ordered a #2 and it fit perfectly. Save yourself time and order a couple different ones.

Poor Sizing
Ordered the smallest size but it's still far too large for pinky finger.

Wrong size, but found the right size for you!
I ordered this for a mallet finger injury I sustained recently, just got it today, and it really is a marked improvement over the finger splits from the store, however I did order the wrong size because of a sizing chart I found online. After measuring the size I received I found close to the correct size chart/sizes:Size 1 - (5 cm)Size 2 - (5.5 cm)Size 3 - (5.8 cm)Size 4 - (6.1 cm)Size 5 - (6.3 cm)Size 5.5 - (6.8 cm)Size 6 - (7.3 cm)Size 7 - (8.4 cm)Measure the circumference of your DIP joint for the sizing, my pinky measured 4.5cm and I ordered a size 3 because of a different chart I found(maybe it was for women?) Luckily it I was able to pad it comfortably so that my finger fits appropriately in the splint now. But I still wish I ordered a size 1 from the get go as the size 3 almost fits my thumb which measured 6.2 cm and was bigger than my index which measured 5.5 cm. I may order a size 1 if the size 3 becomes too cumbersome. The sizes I found are for a different brand, brown medical, but they seem to match closely. Hoping the sizing is better for you than me.

Exactly what I needed, and what was advertised
Product was exactly what was advertised. It was true to size and fit as I expected. It did a great job of keeping the tip of my finger straight to allow it to heal. The nice thing about this splint is that you can shower, shave, etc. with it on because it is waterproof.
