Buying a gas line? Buy these too!
Purchased a 40' line to run propane to the new gas stove... The fittings that came with the cast hose were trash. These were top notch and worked great! I wish the hose would've come with these in the first place!

Worthless!
This was worthless. It would never seal off on the gas! It did not work!! I just missed the return cut off. Do not buy!

BEWARE: These do NOT fit all 1/2" lines!!
As others have stated, these fittings do NOT fit all 1/2" flexible gas lines! Unfortunately, I learned this the hard way. I watched the video several times, and did exactly as shown. The problem is the collet halves that fit around the line end were slightly too small. I tried to force fit them, but to no avail. I don't know if the parts were improperly sized or if my gas line is just slightly larger than other lines. My line is outdoor rated, so maybe outdoor lines are slightly larger? Either way, don't order them unless you're ok with rolling the dice on whether they will work for you.
