The Hodlvant Transform Robot Car Excavator is an absolute hit in our household! This is our second purchase because my son loves it so much. He takes his original one everywhere, so we got another to keep at his grandparents' house. The seller even included a nice message, which added a personal touch to the experience. Highly recommended for both the toy's quality and the seller's thoughtfulness. Five stars!

Not worth it
Once the fiddly battery compartment was sorted, it worked well for a few days, but battery does not last long. And it's given up completely now even with new batteries. Disappointed

Good fun
The media could not be loaded. The remote has a flexible aerial That helps prevent snapping.The range extends far enough to work from one side of a room to the other.it requires 2xAA batteries.The controls take a little getting used to but can be used for forwards and reverse actions as well as left, right and spin.The excavator has a great build quality and has a die cast appearance despite being plastic.The tyres are rubberised with the exception of a centre wheel us3d for rotation.The power switch is accessed underneath and has a two position button. One of which turns off the music.I like the fact this has its own built in rechargeable battery.This is really appreciated when you have a young one with powered toys as it can become expensive changing alkalines regularly.Perhaps aimed at a slightly older child but younger ones will find it mostly appealing.As most of the actions are automated it is difficult for a youngster to just sit and watch.Thankfully having the ability to control some of the actions like movement with the remote control keeps their hands occupied and away from the toy.Great fun watching the vehicle transform.My grandson enjoys it.
