Once you get the hang of it, these are easy to install. I used a slip joint pliers in my non-dominant hand to close the tap, and needle nose pliers in my dominate hand to lock the tap closed. I installed 11 low voltage lights from Menards under the eaves of my house, using these spade taps. We like how this turned out.

These are awesome! Made making my own chandelier a piece of cake. One hot, one neutral, 6 fixtures clamped on, done. Be careful inserting the spade as it's easy to shoot over the top of it. Had 1 bulb out of 6 working because I didn't connect them properly. My fault, entirely. A bit spendy, but worth it for a clean project.
