Excellent tools
Had a hex nut that was froze and a regular allen wrench wouldn't do the job. These with their extra long length provided the torque that was needed to free it.

slight bend

Quality at a good price
There is nothing brilliant I can add here that has not been said by others. I bought these mainly for working on a bicycle that I frequently tear-down, pack, travel & re-build. It is nice to work with high quality tools that the various random allen keys on which I was previously relying.

Nice set with a useful stand
I purchased the RES 44001 – 8-Piece Metric 3-Way T-Handle Spinner Hex Allen Key Wrench Set – Sizes from 2mm to mount on the wall close to my metal lathe. The allen wrenches are of decent quality and the wall mount is decent quality. The allen wrenches serve the purpose I needed and I am satisfied with the purchase.

Nice Wrenches
The wrenches look good and are of decent quality. I can not tell what type of metal that it is made from. I have not had to apply a lot of torque a bolt with these yet. But for what I have used them for, they appear to be built with good steel. I like the color difference between the sets and all but the smallest sizes have the size listed on the wrench. The ends are chromed and the paint may actually be a powder coating, but not sure. They don't appear to be able to rust easily. The black holder is more of a rubber than a hard plastic. Easy to see the sizes on the holder in white letters. The holder grips the wrenches enough to hold onto, but not hard enough that you have to fight to get them in or out.Only a few minor things that I don't like. One thing is that the sizes are not in order. The 3/16, 5/32, and 1/8 on the front holder and the 9/64 and 7/64 on the back holder are not in sequential order with the rest of the wrenches. The metric wrenches are in order but not the SAE, go figure. And the Second thing that I don't like is that the sizes are not listed on 7 of the 13 smaller wrenches. The sizes are printed onto the wrenches and are not stamped or engraved.

They chooch
Bought the Star/Torx/Security/whatever you want to call it set.Update: A while after using the Star set, I went back and bought the metric and SAE sets. I was happy enough to throw another $50 at the same company so take that as you will.Pretty Skookum.Definitely fit for purpose. Some of the best I've used and I'm picking up both the metric and standard hex keys in the next couple weeks. These should last me a long time and given their unique appearance I won't be losing any anytime soon.I don't see any reason to buy any other set of hex key wrenches. That being said, these are probably being bought from a manufacturer and repackaged. You'll notice there is another set of very similar hex keys in almost identical packaging being sold by a company called Titan on Amazon also. However, instead of listing the material as S2 tool steel, they call it chrome molybdenum somethin' whatsit.Maybe they're both the same. Maybe they're not. S2 tool steel is the industry standard and works very well. You can put chrome and molybdenum in pancake batter and call it a hex key. Both are ingredients of S2 tool steel, but Ares lists theirs by the proper name and that's something you can trust, even if it does cost $5 more a set.An extra dollar a key is fine by me if they're made of the right stuff.

Beautiful
I love how the grip texture is painted so vibrant, which makes it so easy to spot in the tool box. They fit & feel good in the hands when snugging down bolts. As well as they fit the bolts easy, a perfect size.
