Good quality and design

This is a piece of white cotton cloth that is 2 metres long and has two golden stripes running the length. The material is very, very lightly woven. I didn't order it for the advertised purpose so I don't feel that I can say too much about the price, which I thought was a lot, or the weight of the material. If you are getting it for the intended purpose, then I think you would know it's value better than I do.I really don't wish to offend anyone as I do understand this has ceremonial significance, but I just wanted it as a runner for my christmas table. The fact that it is very sheer wasn't an issue either way as it was being laid over a white table cloth. It actually looked quite lovely. It's cotton, so I think the inevitable food stains will wash out okay, and since it is also called a towel, I don't think washing the gold will be an issue. Happy to recommend if you are looking for something really lightweight.
