I hung this lockable latch on my garden shed doors in minutes. What took too long however, was getting a thin insert made to fit under the draw bolts hasp. That not the latches fault, but rather what was needed by how the double doors overlay each other. The insert was a cross cut piece that would split fastening it to the door surface. It.need two outsized pilot holes for the mounting screws. Outside of that, the latch is ideal, classy, & will likely outlive me.

This heavy duty gate latch arrived on time and in great condition.I just finished building a new tool shed on my property. I'm using the latch to hold the tool shed door closed and locked. The latch was easy to install and included everything that was needed. I'll admit, I used some longer screws for the latch. I did that because I do have some rather expensive tools in the shed. May not have been needed, but it makes me feel better.The latch is designed so that you can use it on a left or right hand swinging door. The whole latch is made from thickened strong metal. The latch has a padlock hole that's large enough to use a full sized lock. Something else that's great about the latch is it's price point. For $9.99 (at time of my purchase) you get a great door latch.I'm very happy to recommend this latch to anyone who needs to secure a door or gate. Buy it with confidence.

Affixed it to my enclosed trailer door. Now I don't have to rely on the amazingly weak RV door latch that comes with most RV's.Came on time.

Lock mechanism works, and is very simple. You get what you pay for. But be careful and screwing in screws. Any black paint you remove will turn to rust in one day.

I love the ornate look. It is solid and I’m sure will hold. I purchased three of these. Two out of the three sets had one screw missing from the set. I had to improvise, as I did not have the same gauge screws as supplied. A bit annoying.

Put one on top and bottom of our double door storage shed . They result in a convenient and tight closure.
