Works great on 2018 F150 SuperCrew 8in non Sony
I have a 2018 Ford F-150 SuperCrew with the 8-in screen and seven speaker sound system with no subwoofer. The stock radio definitely had no bang to it so I wanted to add a subwoofer and new door speakers. This harness made everything super easy and now I'm rolling down the streets and banging heavy metal. It was worth every penny to me I installed it myself and I spread out my install over a week. First installing the door speakers, then soldering and wiring my speed wire to the harness to prep it for install into my truck. And then lastly dismantling my instrument panel for the install of the harness to the back of the CD player and running it down the channels to the rear of the cab. This product exceeded my expectations it was a little pricey but it was worth it to me.

Essential harness for no cutting of factory wires plug n play adding after market amp
This is a great harness. Straight forward installation. Although at $50 PLUS shipping a little overpriced IMO. I used it to add an Alpine Power Pack amp to my 2015 Ford F150 Lariat. My factory system was the non-Sony POS. I first upgrade all 4 door speakers to the recent upgraded Kicker KS series. This improved sound quality slightly, but those Kickers needed some wattage especially when I'm keeping the factory head unit. The 4 channel amp was easy to tap into this harness with some soldering and heat shrink. I even used the yellow (power) wire and black (ground) wire to tap back into the factory wiring. I then fabricated a metal bracket to bolt onto the metal dash frame behind the touch screen and radio. It's a tight fit but secured it in there nicely. With the tight fit it was not easy to access the amp gain controls once installed so after reading some forums I took a chance on setting the gains for my Alpine amp to about 8 o'clock. Buttoned everything up, reattached the battery cable and turned it on. Sweet music. Absolutely no distortion, but I wish I could tweek the gains up to see if I could get anything more. The sound is good enough for me, although I believe many would want a LOC etc for more pure sound. I'm looking to replace the tweeters next and possibly a Kicker Hideaway sub/amp under the passenger seat. I hope this helps those F150 owners out there suffering from that factory sound.

2018 F150
I bought this for installing an amp in my 2018 F150 and it worked like a champ. I didn’t have to cut any wires and the insulation was very easy if you’re gonna add some aftermarket Soundsystem to your stock radio I highly recommend this.

Works great
I used it to hookup a line converter and 400W amp for a subwoofer to the stock head unit on a 2018 F-150. Comes with instruction sheet that describes all the split wires that the harness provides. Yellow “switched power” did not work for me, so I had to tap a fuse in the lower fuse box in the passenger side of the truck (fuse 36 for anyone interested in doing the same thing)

Perfect harness for no cut install
I installed an Alpine KTP-445U Amplifier into a 2019 Ford F-150 Sync3 factory sound system. All wires connected perfectly and retained all factory Sync3 functionality. This amp is powering a set of JBL GTO 6x9" and 6.5" speakers.

Pinned backwards
One entire end of the plug was pinned backwards. Correct on the head unit end, completely backwards on the vehicle end. Don’t waste your money

Keep or replace factory speakers. 2019 F150 XLT supercrew non-sub version.
I borrowed quick connectors from two load generators (used to power non-factory speakers), and was able to match the colors and still crimp through to my factory speakers, without the extra expense of new speakers. The yellow / black wires power my line out converter. I just added a 10-amp fuse. Finished off, by wrapping it in fabric speaker wire tape. Sounds great. Looks great. Quick connect. Solid click. I am now running my own sub-woofer. I disabled auto-shutoff with a separate adapter.
