A Good Replacement, No Issues So Far. Buy this One!
I bought this bench to replace one that came with my Kawai digital piano which did not adjust. I was worried, based on the price, that this bench would look cheesy, be poorly made, or be difficult to assemble. None of that concern was necessary. It was very easy to assemble even with the included wrench (that wrench isn’t comfortable to use being a simple stamped piece of metal, but you certainly don’t need power tools or even a “real” wrench/ratchet to put this bench together). Like most assemble-yourself furniture, I imagine I’ll have to tighten the bolts in a few months (there’s only four, they’re big, and they’re easy to get to). The pleather seat is MUCH more comfortable than my previous bench and actually not noticeably less comfortable than the artist bench I own from Steinway (which sells for nearly nine times the price). The pleather also looks really nice with even stitching and buttons. The matte finish of the vinyl top contrasts nicely with the high gloss finish of the legs and frame. 2 things are less than perfect: 1. The storage capacity under the seat is minimal as others have noted. It’s about 1 inch deep. However, I only use it for the owner’s manual and accessory cables that go to my digital so that’s really minor. 2. The knobs for adjusting the height of the bench look pretty cheap. They stick out pretty far- think King Charles’ ears- and the plastic they are made of is not aesthetically pleasing. Couldn’t they have been made of wood or metal like other parts of the bench? This is also a minor quibble (I suppose you could replace them if you wanted to) of an otherwise great bang-for-your-buck product. If you need an adjustable bench, this really should be the one you buy.

Good to sit on for short periods of time.
Overall good build, not superb for the price though. One button has come off already and we just spot fixed it with Gorilla tape. The hinges work well and even with my daughter stuffing the storage under the seat overfilled with sheet music, it has not broken. The pad is ok, but not super soft. Adults might find it feels flat.

Good product and great service
The product was good. Works well for my kids height adjustments. When there was a small issue of the product I tried to reach out to customer support with low expectations but the customer service responded promptly and solved the issue! I would recommend it to others!

... all's well in that world except that sometimes I like to play late and night if I can't sleep ...
I have a baby grand that has it's own matching bench and all's well in that world except that sometimes I like to play late and night if I can't sleep and not everyone else in the house cares for that! So.....I recently bought a digital piano and needed a good bench to go with that. I went to a local music store and they had some nice benches, but for what I thought were insanely high prices. I wanted a bench like a friend of mine had, but found out they aren't made anymore. I looked at a lot of music store sites and then checked Amazon and came across this bench.I couldn't be happier with the purchase. When it arrives, you have to attach the legs, so some assembly is required, but it only took a few minutes to get it all set up. OK, it may not have the fit and finish of a $900.00 piano bench, but unless you get really close and get out yoru magnifying glass, it looks like a pro bench. Its also very comfortable, and that the hight is adjustable is a big plus. The padded seat has hinges so you can store music or something else inside, however it is not deep at all so space is very limited.I've only had one ... that I consider very minor....issue. About a week after setting this up, the thin rubber pads on the bottom of the legs came off. Considering the quality of the bench and the price, no big deal. For practically nothing you can get felt pads or plastic feet that you can nail into the bottom of the legs, then voila! Problem solved.

just right.
I got this for my daughter. She moved out and has stand up keyboard in her apartment bedroom. She was using a chair, but of course that was not effective. This is perfect. She has 2 roommates, so the main area is a shared space and they each keep their personal hobbies in their own rooms. That limits space. This is small enough to fit well in her room and also big enough to fit the keyboard. She loved having the ability adjust the height to suit her, and also to have a pave to put her music inside. She loves it.

Did the job but expect wear
We’ve had this bench for 3 years. For the most part I like it but it has started to show wear. It gets used for maybe 5 hours a week and is not abused. After the first year the covering on one of the buttons fell off. It’s starting to show wear on the legs and where the side stitching is. The knobs used to raise the bench have a cheap plastic feel but they still work fine. The cushion is thin but I never felt the seat was uncomfortable. The seat is sturdy.
