This safe is a great product and high quality! I used another safe by the same brand and decided to get this one because I have had good past experiences with this company and their products. The fingerprint and passcode setup is quick, easy, and accurate. In case of any errors, there is a physical key that you can use to unlock the safe, or if the battery runs out. After inputting your fingerprint or passcode, the safe immediately pops open for quick use. The compact shape of the safe also makes it convenient to store aside. Recommended!

Batteries are held together by a very flimsy holder, that then slides into compartment, to power. That flimsy plastic does not hold the batteries very well, and eventually stretches, and the batteries don’t make proper contact, and the safe won’t open😠. Three months old, and when I went to access gun, no good. Had to get key. You won’t know when it happens. Thankfully, it wasn’t and emergency. The warranty is not. They want to send me $20. Which is probably Chinese money😂. All I want is a new, hopefully better battery holder. So, no. It’s to important to reccomend. That was my first review, this is a week later. What I wrote in initial review, still holds true, but in fairness, I must include this. I contacted company, asking for a new battery holder, which is when they offered me $20. I asked again for a new holder(pack), saying that the money wouldn’t solve my problem. Today, I received an email, stating that a new safe has been shipped. I guess I can’t complain about that, even though all I would have needed is a simple plastic battery holder. 🤷🏻‍♂️. So I will upgrade from 1star, to 4 for customer service. Honestly, other then the battery pack, the safe works, and does the job required, keeping the handgun safe, and accessible. Maybe the battery pack has been upgraded, or maybe the one I had was defective. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I found setting up the fingerprint reader a little bit tricky. Initially, I tried to set up multiple fingers, including my thumb, index, middle, and ring fingers, to open the case. It seemed to work for all four fingers until my son was also successful in opening it using his finger.Upon reading the instructions carefully, I registered the same index finger four times within ten seconds, and the ring light turned green with one short and one long beep. This approach worked as expected without any false readings. The fingerprint reader's response time is reasonably fast, taking about a second, and operates smoothly.The safe is made of solid metal material, and it feels secure enough to prevent kids from accessing any items you do not want them to touch. However, it is not intended to stop intruders who intentionally use tools to break in. It is better to install it in a location that is not easily visible but still easily accessible for yourself. Therefore, it is a fit-for-purpose solution rather than an all-in-one solution.
