It's an easy to use, put away, no storage space needed ladder.
I was skeptical about these kinds of ladders at first. A ladder that closes down and uses very little storage space. A good idea, but do they work? Why are they not sold in stores? Hardware and tool stores? Yet I kept seeing businesses who come out to inspect or quote work to be done, with a ladder like this in the trunks of their cars. I am one who likes others to waste or lose their money on something before I try it. And there it was, these types of ladders were used over and over again. So, I broke down and bought myself one. To be able to get on the roof of my house. I'm glad I got it. It's strong, locks in place, mine holds up to 360 lbs, easily drops back down and can be put or stored in a small space. Very convenient and worth the cost.

Junk Buttons Break
Buttons fall off. Spacing between rungs too far. I’m 6’-2” and it’s difficult to stretch that 16” between rungs. Besides 3 days of jobs and it broke. The buttons fell out as the ladder extended. Cheap parts. Don’t last 4 days.

Not a legal U.S. ladder
I ordered this ladder assuming the rungs were of legal space apart. They are not. The U.S. legal max. is 12". These are 15-1/2". Way too far apart to comfortably climb up & down. The ladder itself is good. A bit heavy but very sturdy. You do have to watch your fingers when lowering the rungs because they slam down.

Broke
Would not retract. Very flimsy.

Quality
Like the compact feature of product. Steps seem a bit to far apart for comfortable climbing.
