Brought back great memories!
As someone who's tried their fair share of MREs, I have to say, the Western Frontier MRE Case A and Case B Bundle exceeded my expectations. First off, let's talk about the variety - with 24 meals, you're getting a diverse range of options that cater to different tastes and preferences. Whether you're craving something hearty like beef stew or something lighter like pasta primavera, this bundle has got you covered.I was pleasantly surprised by how well these meals held up over time. The packaging was sturdy, ensuring that each meal remained fresh and intact. Plus, the heating element worked like a charm, giving me a piping hot meal in minutes, even when I was out in the wilderness. And let's not forget about the value for money aspect. Considering the quality and quantity of meals you're getting, the price is incredibly reasonable. It's a convenient and cost-effective option for anyone who enjoys outdoor activities like camping or hiking, or even just for stocking up your emergency preparedness kit.Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase of the Western Frontier MRE bundle. It's reliable, convenient, and delicious - everything you could ask for in a meal ready to eat. If you're in the market for MREs, look no further than this bundle. You won't be disappointed.

MRE’(Meals Refused by Everybody) s have come a long way since my first experience in 1983 after eating real C Rations (packed in the 1970’s). Two weeks eating the first generation of this crap in Iraq made me a believer in cruel and unusual punishment but these modern MRE’s with 2019 inspection dates are way better (IMHO). Gone are the “Four Fingers of Death” (mini hot dogs), “Green Eggs and Ham” (Ham & Egg omelet ) and “Orange Butt-plug” (Orange Nut Cake). Beef Stew is better with new flavor packet and drinks as well as desserts are pretty good too. Flameless Ration Heaters (FRH) is great with practice and will get too hot to touch (careful). Favorite meals are Mexican Beef and Rice, Asian beef Strips with vegetables, Breakfast Skillet. IF these are not ‘genuine’ DoD surplus, somebody went to a lot of trouble to print “Not for Resale” on all the packages intended to mean that military persons issued these are not to resale them for profit, vendors can sell them once released. The 2019 inspection series is living up to the video reviews as high calorie and good variety. No idea why Meatballs and Marinara are paired with scalloped potato though.

worth the money
there's not much to report if you know what they are. i don't worry about the due date because i have used these for many years and have never found any to be bad i even ate some vietnam leftovers that was perfectly fine any way rotate your stock use them for hunting hiking or what ever when time to change out. the main point of this review is to say the price was great these case meals used to be like 45 to 50 dollars a case now the common price is 80 and up i have a local pawn shop selling them for 18 dollars a meal and they have idiots that buy them.

Good
Fast shipping. We only opened one of the two boxes for inspection, and all bags in the box we opened were in good condition and properly sealed. Truth is, I do not have any military experience, so this my first MRE sampling. I tried the hash-browns (Menu 20) and my wife had the sausage patty (Menu 17). Her heater worked fine, but mine didn't. I think it was my fault, however, being my first try - it seems to have been pilot error. She knew what she was doing, so hers heated fine. The food wasn't bad. My wife wasn't crazy about the sausage patty but I thought it was OK. We both liked my hash-browns. All the other cool stuff that you get with it was good too. The peanut butter and the cheese spread, both were fine and not stale in any way. So far so good! These will be great for camping or general rainy-day food storage.

MRE okidokie
So these are ok. I spent 19 years in the Army, so I have seen a few different generations of MREs come and go.A few mentionables:-These are not packed like they used to be. So at first it thought they were not genuine. I have yet to confirm with someone who has served recently, but I think its just a new way of packaging them. The entrée and side item no longer have their own cardboard box. The entrée and sides are still in their bag, but now there is just a thin cardboard sheet, with entrée name printed on it. I assume this is to save space? Its too bad, as the box was used to heat the meal. This was a big disappointment.-There are no matches in the accessory pack.I have tested 2 meals so far, and everything seems ok. The cheese spread doesn't seem to have as strong an odor like it used too.And I like how they cut some of the bread slices into strips.Overall, not bad. Im stocking up with about 6 cases for an emergency. As they get older, I will eat and replace as necessary.EDIT-the cardboard sheet is actually a sleeve, used for heating, similar to using the box. Call me old fashioned I guess

Complete MRE collection (Case A&B). No compromised MRE's through s/h. High quality MRE's. This is my second (10 year term) family earthquake preparedness food kit. I still have my old 2006 MRE collection for which is still consumable (my daughter & I dined on one last week - still yummy!). I keep my MRE's in the closet (average temp 62). Cheap & effective food source when trying to nourish your family after a natural disaster. You would be shocked how many of my Californian neighbors are in total denial with disaster preparedness (earthquakes, fires, tsunamis, EMP's, etc). Be Prepared or Die waiting for govt help. The Choice is Yours.
