LeeWomen's Relaxed Fit Straight Leg Jean

Before you purchase any LEE Women's Relaxed Fit Straight Leg Jeans, check out the fabric mix. That is, they say this particular Jean is 98% cotton and 2% spandex, but this is NOT the case. I purchased three of these, same size, 3 different colors. WOW- there is NO, NOT ANY consistency in the actual measurements or fabric make up on these jeans. I found the ones made in Mexico are not made to specs at all.The one's made in Egypt are great, and as described. I did luck out on 2 of the 3 pairs. Had to return the pair made in Mexico. Even though all 3 pants were the same size, the cut from the one's made in Mexico were 1.5" shorter inseam. Legs (each) were 1" too big on each leg. The material just immediately stretched out. Been buying these specific Lee Jeans for decades and these past few years to current, are so inconsistent in the measurements as well as the material. If Lee is making the same jean, why does each color have a different fabric mix? Why are the one's made in Mexico, not cut/sized as described? Shouldn't this particular model of Lee Jeans be consistent in sizing and fabric content, no matter the color or where it is made.

I was skeptical about ordering pants from Amazon but my work requires black pants so I took a chance and ordered these. When they came they looked bulky and like men pants but when I put them on I liked them, my boyfriend liked how they looked and I think I’ll order another pair once I see how they hold up after washing. I ordered a 16 and I’m 5 7 and weigh about 220

Pockets on the back are fake. Pockets on the sides are way too shallow, couldn't even manage to get my phone in them. Lack of proper pockets makes them pretty much useless to me. Not only do I hate carrying any sort of handbag, but I'm also not in a position where I can carry one with me at all times, but I do need to have access to my phone at all times, so if designers can't put real pockets on women's pants and ones that are deep enough to fit basic things like cell phones, then they're completely useless to me.

Once I found the right size they worked great but I took me an entire amazon wardrobe order to get there. It’s mostly because women’s American pant sizes make no sense- I usually wear an 6-10 in jeans depending on the brand but the 4 long in the light gray fit me best. I don’t like super tight pants so they’re not the most snug but I tried the 2 and let’s just say they looked “unprofessional”. I do hold a decent amount of my weight in hips and butt though. I’m 5’8 and swing between 140 and 150 lbs. Very long legs- I definitely needed the “long” size. My hips are 35” and waist 29” but I always feel like I’m not measuring the right spot so who knows how accurate that is. Hopefully this helps other people not have to order 4 different sizes and 2 lengths to find the right ones. They’re holding up well so far and don’t wrinkle much if you keep them hung up. I don’t do anything special to wash them and that works just fine. I think I do delicates and warm settings for all my work clothes. Soft, relatively thin material. I bought another color- the black and white “checkered” I think- that feels and fits completely different. I needed a 2 long for that one and the material is much thicker. But that’s women’s pants for you. I hate online clothes shopping because of this but most clothing stores are closed now and the ones that are open don’t allow returns or trying on and I really needed work pants since I’m considered “essential”.

I bought the 4 colors of “Meridian”, “Jaded” and “authentic Nordic” and “Authentic Nile” to compare. I have a short waist so the hip fit needs to be very comfortable. Here’s my notes to go with my image of side by side color comparisons:1. Authentic Nordic: 3051872 : made in Mexico; 92%cotton/7%polyester/1% spandex ; about same weight as “Jaded” color (winter weight), but stiffer/denser and somewhat scratchy (maybe with that much cotton it needs to be broken in?). Darker navy color consistent shading. These feel the tightest of the 3 colors, but if I want something this tight I would want more stretch, which is why I want “relaxed fit” instead of tight.2. Jaded: 3054036 : made in Eqypt; 75% cotton/24% polyester/1% spandex; heavier,denser,stiffer, darker/navy (with fading effect on wearing areas) fabric than “Meridian” color....winter weight.3. Meridian: 3051833 : made in Egypt; 82% cotton, 17% polyester, 1% spandex; soft touch, medium-bright color (consistent shading), stretchy, lighter weight fabric.4.”Authentic Nile” : 3051842 : made in Mexico; 92%cotton/7%polyester/1%spandexThe “Authentic Nile” jeans had some more comfortable features over the other 3 :-very soft, mid weight, substantial fabric-more generous seat/thigh for a true “relaxed” fit-more generous sizing in lower leg alsoThe medium blue color is garment dyed now....my jeans from 2 years ago were not.....so it has a richer blue than the “Meridian”, and even the “Faded”.But the “Authentic Nile” is also 30% more expensive than the other 3.

I have been buying and wearing Lee Jeans for about 30 years now so I would say that I know the brand pretty well. The last 2 times that I have purchased Lee Jeans here they have had a very funky fit. The hip and upper thigh is tight while the waistline is enormous. I am a curvy woman - my waist is smaller than my hips and so I don't wear men's jeans because of the straight hip to waist cut, the waistline just bags on me while the hip is snug. These jeans fit like that.Lee has NEVER cut women's jeans the same way as men's, that's why I have worn them all these years. I am highly suspicious of brand look-alike here. I think that the jeans that I got were not actually made by Lee. They don't look like Lee, they don't fit like Lee, and so I have returned them. I guess I won't be buying Lee Jeans here if I can't be sure of what I am getting.This is the second time that I've had this happen buying Lee Jeans from Amazon. Interestingly enough I have purchased Lee Jeans that fit just right (as expected) from Amazon as well, and recently too.

Love these jeans always buy Lee and always from US.They would have a 5 rating apart from sizing issue.A UK 12 is US 8 not 6. Twice these have been sent as the wrong size.Not Amazon UKs problem however it is something Amazon global needs to sort

Sizing ... jeans come up very small. Ordered 2 pairs of same size and one is too small , the other too big. Not accurate sizing at all: you order and you take pot luck.

Second or third pair of Lee jeans via Amazon and really really pleased with them. Like the fit the colour and the price. Perhaps its time to buy more.

These jeans are really excellent value...relax fit describes them perfectly...I love them... Elaine...

Nice colour, foft denim and design but the sizing is all over the place. I oredered all different sizes but nothing fitted.
