This is a genuine review, I have never written an Amazon review before. First of let me start with saying I have been diagnosed with very high ppm hydrogen sibo back in April 2025. I have been through hell with my gut health for the last two years, happy after finally being diagnosed I thought a round of a well known Sibo antibiotic starting with the letter R would do the trick! How wrong I was. After doing a round of antibiotics I thought if I continue with probiotics and low FODMAP diet it would put me back on track, however I was still feeling the uncomfortable digestive issues and that horrible constant popping feeling sibo sufferers get returned. I was devastated as I could not continue like this anymore. I became so ill with other health issues as a knock on affect of the Sibo. I did a bit of reading and came across the huge benefits of butyric acid. Please never ever stop making this supplement, it’s already very hard to find a decent calcium butyrate and the quality is exceptional. First few days I had bloating and some low grade indigestion, this is normal! It will go. I am on day 6 and the popping sensation, bloating, burning, gurgling, indigestion, has completely disappeared. I even ate a little high FODMAP food which would normally trigger my gut straight away, I’m still to finish another 3 weeks of low FODMAP, but to my surprise I had no symptoms of Sibo. This has been my saving grace and a light at the end of the tunnel for me. Butyric acid also helps with liver pain/inflammation which Sibo suffers also get. One negative point is it really stinks like vomit! But I guess that’s the seal of approval in knowing this is the real deal. I use a spoon to scoop one capsule out the bag otherwise your fingers will smell so bad. Good luck and I hope this supplement works out for you as it has done for me.

This product for me is a real game changer and this may sound like a stages review but it’s not, this immediately solved the problems I have been having with digestive system which has been going on for a couple of years. I’ve been reading about the benefits of Butyrate and why we need it. I don’t know how this compares with other Butyrate products but this works so I’m not going to change brands. In fact it’s very rare I have a product on repeat however this may well be a regular purchase. Great product and has made my life so much better thank you Time!! Health!

This product didn't seem to do anything for me despite an abundance of evidence that butyric acids is important in gut health and function. It's an expensive product, so I had read about ButyraGen® and got a surprise. According to the manufacturer: ✔️SCIENCE BACKED BENEFITS. But if you take the trouble to read the science: (M Smith et al. Investigation of the tolerability and potential health benefits of a novel butyrate generating supplement in a pilot human study. Nutrition and Healthy Aging. 2024. (9).133–144, 133.) You will see this: "All three fecal SCFA {short chain fatty acids} showed decreasing trends from baseline (Day −7) to the end of the study (Day 21) in the whole population as well as within inter-vention groups." i.e. the levels of faecal Butyric Acid FELL slightly after 21 days of supplementation!

Ketone production, gut health

I suffer from IBS and have done for years. Started taking these and slowly the symptoms were less and less. No bloating, pain & cramps, able to go to toilet normally and regularly. I'm on my 3rd delivery and now only take every other day with still no IBS symptoms.

Expect good things, on a trail run with me, so far - not sure after 3weeks...

I have tried other brands but this is just as good and half the price. I trust time healths formulations and claims.
