I have been using these bowls and black mat for about 3 weeks and am very happy with this high quality product.The biggest plus for me is that the mat (with bowls) takes up very little space because the bowls are deep, rather than wide, so the entire product is not very large, like most bowl/mat setups for medium-large dogs are. From the picture, I was worried the bowls may be too small (since it was difficult to tell depth and the mat didn't look very wide), but that's not the case, and I'm thrilled with that each bowl is smaller in circumference, but deep enough so that it's still a "large bowl" for a bigger dog.The mat is thick, and of a very good sturdy material*. My dog is a 2 year old, female Border Collie, around 55lbs, and the bowls are the perfect size for her! I can easily fit a large can of dog food into the bowl, with it not overflowing at all, and it can fit several cups of water as well (I forget how many oz the bowls are - big though!).Another great thing is that the bowls can be removed easily (but not too easily that they're loose and move while the dog is eating- they are snugly in place & the dog definitely can't get them out either). They are also very easy to clean; The mat can be wiped down easily with an organic cleansing wipe (not trying to be pompous lol; Organic disinfectant is used just to be safe, so my dog doesn't ingest the chemicals in most cleaners) after meals and in between legimate washes with hot water & dish soap (at which time the mat can easily fit in most kitchen sinks, and is very bendable if your sink is smaller). One other thing is that if wet-food DOES get left in the bowl, it comes off easily, without having to scrub it hard- not sure what would cause that to be the case, but I definitely appreciate it. I also like that, because the bowls are deep rather than wide, the mat is much smaller than what's typical for a similar setup.Overall, in short, it is well-made, takes up less room than similar products, is of good quality, has a fair price, is easy to clean, and both me and my dog really like it!5/5! Much better than expected, and I was expecting it to be just fine! I definitely recommend this to anyone with a medium or large dog (unless you need a REALLY big bowl - though honestly, as long as you feed your dog 2 or more times, and not just in one huge meal, I can't imagine this being too small for any dog smaller than a buck lol).Happy Holidays! <2017>*feels like silicone, but I am not sure if it actually IS, so I don't want to say it, just incase it's not & someone who really wants a silicone mat buys it after seeing that I said that LOL- at any rate though, if it's NOT silicone, it's a very, very close copy, and feels just the same.

I just received this and so far it seems to be working great. I was worried about the size of it being too big for what I really needed for my 6 month old kitten but its given me piece of mind to know that while I am away at school for 5-6 hours, she will have her food and more than enough water for how much it holds. I like that it also sticks to the floor and the mat keeps things clean. I definitely prefer this type of mat over just two bowls on the floor or two bowls sitting in a holder, I also like that the bowls really cant be moved or tipped over because they sit pretty firmly in the spots.

These bowls are much, much smaller than I anticipated for 62 ounces. Probably my fault in not measuring how much that would be before buying. Good for one pet even using both bowls for water - a cat or very small dog. Otherwise plan on filling it several times a day. My biggest disappointment was the 8 days it took to receive it. It took 6 days for processing and then it arrived in 2 days when it finally shipped. I think we are just used to things shipping much faster. Overall it is a quality product if you get it realizing its small and it will take longer to get than most Amazon products.

I both like and dislike this product. The rubber mat does a great job of keeping the bowls in place and preventing my puppy from knocking them over, but it is hard to clean. The mat gets very dirty; it's much easier to simply clean the floor instead of the mat. Also, 62 ounces sounded like it would be plenty, but these are meant for cats or very small dogs; I have to refill the water bowl about three times a day for my 22-lb Labradoodle puppy.

I do love this set of bowls and the silicone mat it comes with. I've never had as issue with skidding or an enthusiastic dog upending a bowl. I feel like the silicone shows dirt/grunge and you have to wipe it dry really well to prevent water marks, but this is probably the case with all materials I imagine. It's easy to clean and the bowls just slide out so you can put them in the dishwasher.

I looked at these for a while before I purchased. Backstory: I have a boston terrier mix who is fed a raw food diet. She loves to eat off paper plates. However, we don't really like that because of the environmental implications of all her paper plates, plus she pushes the paper plates around with raw food on it and it wasn't sanitary. We got this one, and gave her treats in the food side first. She got pretty excited about the food bowl. Now she's eating out of it, and no more paper plates. We are happy. Bowls come out easily, and aren't super heavy. I put the whole thing in the dishwasher and it didn't lose color or shape. It can also be easily washed by hand. This place at won't slide at all. She's a food pusher and she still tries but it doesn't move. Very pleased with it. She's only 25 lbs, and her meal fits inside. If you have a larger free fed dog this might not work for you, or you will have to fill it more often. It does fit quite a bit of food inside though.

The description side it was good for large dogs. That’s a lie. We have a 16 week old lab and she empties these bowels 3 to 4 times a day. The design is great. Loved the fact that she can’t dump them. Just wish that I am out $16 & still on the hunt for new bowels. Lesson learned do more research before my next purchase & and never believe sale pitch posted with the product.

Our furry friend is quite messy when he is eating and drinking...some other furry friends in the house also believe the water is a splash pad and flick water everywhere, sometimes spilling the dish over. We needed a solution to the mess and here it is! It works great. The bowls stay where they are supposed to and the lil' tray catches all of the water. This truly has saved us some time and the design is sweet. Good luck :)
