I had some fungi or something on my feet for a month (couldn't treat properly because I was traveling). I started by making 2 baths per day for a week, then 1 per day for a week, and then 1 every 2 days. Everything was gone! Just make sure you are measuring the amount of permanganate correctly. It stains and is actually very dangerous chemical, don't play around if you don't know what you're doing... Oh btw, it turns fingernails black, and you need to wait for them to completely regrow (or scratch off the blackened surface with a knife).

Great product. Just make sure you use a very small amount in a bowl of water and soak for 15 to 20 minutes and you will be surprised.

I have tried using this for whitening and brightening my laundry. I even bought the industrial peroxide used for laundry and my whites are not any whiter. Perhaps it's user error but I have tried countless times, different ways and my whites are still dingy **EDIT** My previous review was definitely user error. I used vitamin c powder instead of peroxide and it works so much better! Use boiling hot water to dissolve the Potassium Permanganate. Put dingy whites in and let soak for 10 min. Remove whites from liquid and rinse until water runs clear (the whites will look brown) put aside. Add 2tbsp of vitamin c powder into boiling water and stir. Add this mixture to the Potassium Permanganate mixture. Stir until the Potassium Permanganate turns clear. Add in your whites. Let soak for 20 min. If you still see brown areas just add more vitamin c powder. After 20 min rinse with a few times. Be cautious of what detergent you use to wash because it could turn the whites dingy again. This actually works!

I saw a TikTok trend about using potassium permanganate to whiten clothes and just had to try it and wow, it really works! I use a tiny diluted amount when soaking my whites, and it makes a noticeable difference. My clothes come out brighter and fresher, especially after a sun-dry.
