Q: My rack is 52 inches wide where the bar will sit on the supports. What is the straight length of the bar before it makes the first bends?

About 47 inches. Elite Fitness is 49.5 inches. No good safety squat bar will fit your rack. I would recommend still purchasing this bar but using chain suspended J hooks hanging from the top of your rack for this particular bar.

Q: Will this SSB fit in a Cap Barbell rack?

Mine fits in my rack and barbell rack, but mine arent cap. Its standard everything so I imagine if will fit if standard bars fit.
