Good to Know It is recommended for over 3 years old. Bright and cheerful colors everyone loves. Plastic is unbreakable, harmless and has no additives. It does not contain BPA (Bisphenol A). IKEA has banned BPA (Bisphenol A) in plastic products (0-7 years old) and all food contact products in the children's range. IKEA has eliminated BPA from the roads since 2006. It can be washed in the dishwasher up to 70°C.

Q: Are these utensils microwave safe?

Care Dishwasher-safe up to 158ºF (70°C). Unfortunately I have no information as far as it being microwave safe. It would be safe to assume it is not. The Kalas plates we sell are microwave safe up to 212 F.
