Great Quality!
I bought this a few years ago via Amazon and it's still going strong. Very good quality and the spiraled veggies turn out awesome. It's also great for making apple chips, veggie chips and potato gratin!

Tricky
I find this product difficult to use. It does the job well, and I've produced some lovely food by using it however I find the way you use it rather clunky.First of all, pushing down on the veg/fruit/whatever to spiralize is quit tricky, and if you put a chopping board underneath, and fix the suction caps of the spiralizer onto it, it slides around. If you fix the suction caps onto the worktop and put the chopping board underneath, the food goes half on the worktop and half on the chopping board. It also doesn't do the whole piece of veg and leaves about a cm of wastage. It's also very strenuous on the arm you are using if you have a lot to do.Secondly to take this apart to wash after use, I have found very hard! For some reason, you have to pull the left and right side at the same time/same pressure to dismantle it. I have found it difficult from the start, so have converted to using the "pencil sharpener" style spiralizer which is small and I find this much simpler. It's a shame as I had high hopes.

thanks to Lurch's super sharp blade (the ribbon one if anyone cares) I ...
Despite initial problems with delivery and the fact that as I type I am dripping blood from my sliced thumb, thanks to Lurch's super sharp blade (the ribbon one if anyone cares) I love this gadget. In minutes you can create oodles of noodles out of just about anything. First time out the gate I tried it on potatoes and ended up with some pretty great potato crisps - not the healthiest trial run but the kids loved them. After that I enjoyed chicken courgette noodles with cucumber noodle salad and started planning my grocery list. If you are swithering about getting a Lurch Spiralizer - just do it. There are a ton of resources on the internet about getting creative with the resulting curly, ribbon or noodled veggies. Just keep in mind how sharp those blades are so you don't end up with bits of finger in your dish.

Good fun and makes a healthy change
Although I had to return my first Lurch Spiralizer, the second one is performing well.Easy to put together if one is careful. The blades ARE SHARP, sharper than ordinary kitchen knives - don't be tempted to try and remove any food pieces using your finger . . Easy to clean.Works well, I found a gentle but continual downward pressure worked best, and I turned the whole handle, not just using the knob, as it felt more 'secure' doing it that way, but that's only my grip which is a problem, not the machine.I have done butternut, parsnip, carrot, celeriac, broccoli stalk - all successful though machine prefers good solid pieces rather than slimmer bits. I will try cabbage again, because it didn't work well my first time.(Regarding the little bits left attached to the spikes afterwards, I also have a 'bullet' so store the pieces in the fridge for tomorrow's blitzed drink. or one could freeze them all in a bag and use them in next soup or stock, or curry).

Does exactly what it says
Manages all the hard veg, beetroot and butternut. My favorite recepie is two beetroot, one red Onion and a medium carrot. Spiralize them into a big bowl. We then add juice of whole lemon, two to three tbspn balsalmic vinegar, pinch pink Himalayan salt. Mix it all together. Makes a lovely slaw. Healthy and super nutrients. Makes enough for me and wife. I make it the day before and pack in Tupper ware pots for work.Love the simple and easy product

Fantastic!
Absolutely fab little gadget for the kitchen. It's so easy to use, I got the hang of it first go! One of the best things about it is the minimal amount of parts. I can't stand when these gadgets come with a million different pieces, I always end up losing something. One of my favourite meals to make with it is my Zoodle Bolognese (basically just replace the spaghetti with spiralized courgette) Love it so much, I actually enjoy it more than regular spaghetti. Good price. Like the fact it's a manual machine with no power needed :)
