Perhaps this does smell like Pirates of the Caribbean however, I walked into a room where the candle was, without it, even being lit and thought my TV was on fire. The smell is like burning plastic and totally unpleasant. Not to mention, $25 for a small candle. Seems like a complete rip off. It went back.

I was unsure about ordering this because of the mixed reviews. But I decided to try it and I was very happy with how the candle smelled after lighting it. It definitely smells better when it's lit and smells like the ride.

If you want an instant migraine, and the feeling that you’ve been huffing melting plastic, this candle is for you!!!!! This company should be shut down very curious what they actually put in their candles to make it smell like harsh chemicals. I will never purchase from here again.

This is my second purchase with Park Scents, and they never disappoint me! They actually managed to capture that smoky, damp atmosphere of the Pirates Ride. If you're a real Disney fan, you have to try this one out! I also purchased their "50 Years of Magic" candle and am extremely happy with it.

You have to be sitting really close to smell it

I've been going to Disneyland for over 50 years and I have ridden the Pirates of the Caribbean ride countless times. I would say I am extremely familiar with how the ride smells, and I can say with absolute certainty the candle I received smells *nothing* like what the Pirates ride smells like. Sadly its doesn't even smell nice. For the size (8ox), this candle is way overpriced. And to really top it off, the company puts a sticker on the outside of the box saying whats inside of it, on a shipment made in December, thank you for ruining the surprise. All I can say is I feel ripped off.

WOW! They nailed it! This is definitely the closest smell that I've ever had! I used to buy a lot of candles from different companies claiming they are accurate imitations of the pirates ride, THEY ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THIS ONE! If you're a disney fan and you want to experience that damp atmosphere of the pirates water again, you will absolutely love this candle! Thank you park scents for making it happen!

Does not smell like the ride at all, in fact the smell is quite gross. The price is quite high as well, especially when it does not match description.
