I'm 5'6", 28 inch toned high waist but hips are wider, and 140 athletic pounds. I bought the light grey in large and they fit in the butt and legs great but the elastic waist gives a little muffin effect and I never have that problem. I work out alot and am toned with a flat tummy but the waist in these, although not uncomfortable, does not create a flush silloette and pushes skin out even though I'm fit with very little, if any, tummy fat. If I fold the waist down it looks better so that the waist is flush with my hip bone. Also...I hate to mention this but this is an honest review/warning, so....these give you a total "camel-toe", another complaint I've never had to deal with lol. Now I know, lol. Again, if I fold the waist down it relieves the stretch in these but still. There is no lining in the crotch whatsoever. These are very thin, do not lift anything, and are similar to a legging you would find for $10;in a package at Walmart or elsewhere. The only difference is the seam pattern on the rear which is meant to look like Freddy jeans I think but the lines do not line up correctly for me. The only pros for me is that the color is a perfect Heather grey and the legs of these fit perfect, are long enough for me (I have long, muscular legs) and the ankles of the leggings stay fitted at the ankles, which I prefer. Very stretchy. These will be great with a longer shirt. I'm only giving two stars for false advertising regarding the lifting. Hope this helps someone. I'm just going to splurge on the real Freddy's after trying these.
