I got this to go in my speedball calligraphy pen and they are to runny. I now use them with the Mont Marte Calligraphy Set, 33 Piece and they work amazing.

Very nice ink. Fits my Panache calligraphy pen. I will say it's smaller than use to BUT could be all items are smaller. They are also easy to refill if you so choose to.

The cartridges produce ink but don't stay in my speedball pen.

The cartridges are easily inserted into the Speedball pen that I use, and the ink flows smoothly. I recommend these cartridges as well as the colored cartridges which are a lot of fun to use. The price of both is comparable to the price I have paid locally.

My husband has been looking for this in any store and was having a hard time finding anything affordable. This was a great value. He uses this daily.

The ink is very dense, then has to be monitored at the nib fairly closely. If a fountain pen is left uncapped for a period of time in excess of 5 or 6 minutes, the ink flow is entirely different than the last stroke taken. If you are working with this pen rather than writing a letter this particular factor can be annoying. Otherwise, the ink colour density is excellent.
