Great bargain , I’d buy again!
Good price point on these for chasing threads. Came in nice little plastic box to keep them in. Works great on aluminum crank arms on bicycles.

The right product for cutting threads for bicycle pedals.
Cut threads properly , not sure how long they will last but I’m only going to use them once. (I hope).

Good bicycle tool to have when needed
My Left crank arm, left pedal left handed thread got compromised. This 9/16 Tap set cut the threads back to normal. The Taps are Not marked Left or Right. The Left handed thread tap has additional markings on the side of the tap more than the right handed thread tap does. A couple of drops of oil on the threads helps during the thread clean up process.

nice to have in the bike tool box
these are a nice addition to your bike work tool box. I had a pair of cranks that where the pedal holes were French threaded. As the threading is similar to English threading you can chase the threads in the pedal holes using these taps. I question if these would be usefull for cutting threads, very useful for dressing threads. In some of the review I read were people were confused about which tap is used on which side, one tap is marked "right" so obviously the other is for the left side. I put a zip tie on the shank of the right tap so it is easily identifiable.

Worked perfectly
I would recommend using some cutting fluid. Makes the job a lot easier. Left was etched as LH and right had no etched. Left turns counter clockwise and right turns clockwise. Just use an adjustable wrench and go slowly. I’m no expert but it worked for me. Took about 2 minutes to fix and get my new pedals in without having to worry about them going in stripped and getting stuck.
