UDEXIA: Interactive Escape Room Book - Puzzle Game Book - Play with Friends, Family or by Yourself

This was a great way to spend an afternoon (or a week)! Perfect for fans of Harry Potter and/or escape room fanatics. My daughters devoured this 'puzzle' and can't help but wish there were more. It was highly interactive between the book and the integrated use of technology. When needed, the clues were helpful without giving 'too much' away. In order to enjoy this book make sure you have some type of device that can scan QR codes. Highly recommend this book!

We got this book prior to a family trip. This book was perfect for us! When we had down time at the hotel, we would work a puzzle or two. The puzzles were challenging enough that we could not breeze through the book, but not so challenging that we couldn't figure it out. We had to use the hints a couple of times, but still managed figure out most of the puzzles. We had the entire book finished by the end of our trip, and I have been looking for another like it ever since.

Concept cool, puzzles are ok. Overall don’t recommend though.

This book is so entertaining! I'm on the 7th key and I can't put it down. The hints are great... I wish I didnt need them. I think it's just hard enough to make you wonder..make you pause. But when you figure out the key 🔑 it's very rewarding. Scanning the QR code is something clever. Will there be a vol. II? I HOPE SO!

If you're a fan of escape puzzles and the worlds of magic and sorcery, then you are sure to love this beautifully illustrated book with companion website. Each page spread in the book is a puzzle set in the world of the magical and mysterious academy Udexia. You must solve each one in order to get a key from the website and move on to the next puzzle in the book. So have a pencil and your phone handy - you will need them! Each puzzle gets progressively a little more challenging, but not impossibly so. It's great to play on your own, and even better with friends and family. My 11-year-old daughter and I have been enjoying play a few pages at a time while snuggling on the coach. We both love escape games and solving puzzles, and this is a great way to have both in a new school + old school way. Highly recommended!

We took this with us on vacation and played it on rainy days or when everyone needed some indoor time. The puzzles are fairly challenging, but our 9 year old *loved* working through the challenges with us. As the game got more challenging, we found chipping away at it through the day was fun. Really great!

I love escape rooms and escape books. This book was a lot of fun. The puzzles make sense. The illustrations are fun. Even though the art is geared towards kids ( I think) I had a blast as an 40s adult. The clues and forum are great help if you get stuck.
