12 Gel Food Coloring

This food coloring is good and bright and mixes really well. It just takes a few drops. I used it to color granulated sugar for my king cake and it worked great.

5 y/o wanted a 'rainbow racecar cake' - these gel colors are bright and vibrant, didn't affect baking time or taste and perfect for coloring a BRIGHT rainbow. To note - I REALLY had to squeeze to get the colors out of the vials. I haven't used gel before, so that may just be how it is, BUT, one cap/spout wasn't on correctly, and the gel shot out everywhere when I squeezed. It was the 5th color I used, so was not expecting it as all other vials were fine. It wiped off the bowls and stainless steel sink just fine, but my hands were blue for a few hours. I used red, yellow, green and blue - I made orange, the colors mixed well with no streaking. Can't speak to the remaining colors, but assume they're the same vibrancy/etc.

This food coloring puts out beautiful colors. Bottles are really small, but you can use white to make your project as light or dark in color as you like it but the more color you use, the worse it will taste. I added flavoring and it still had a little background aftertaste but I guess good overall. I'd try another brand before I buy this again just because of the bad taste but I know that's common for dark colorings. If I don't find one without such a strong taste, id definitely order this again.
