I liked this project idea. I don’t know how to feel about the quality but my daughter and me had fun creating them and came out nice but everything kinda broke in the end and couldn’t take out the crystal from the cup, but I had fun.

These crystals were fun to grow. We’ve only done 3 of the 5 colors so far. The red was easy to watch through the clear cup. The blue color was darker and harder to see. The purple was nearly black in the liquid, but if you held a flashlight behind the cup you could check on how the crystal was developing.I think we let the flowers grow an extra day, monitoring growth through the cup.We did follow the directions to grow optional extra crystals in the bottom of the cup. I just let those grow until the water evaporated (10 or so days). The kids loved checking on them every morning and evening.The only negative is that the little flowerpots that you stick the crystal stem into is very lightweight and had styrofoam for support. The crystal is much heavier, so it was really easy for the kids (and the adults…) to accidentally knock the flowers over, which caused crystals to break off the ball.

One glass was cracked and if failed the other two needed to be dissolved more, I will probably buy again and do with grand kids again they liked the “experiment @ idea

I love the idea of this product. I am a homeschooling mom and I got this for my son as an assignment to teach him how to follow instructions. The product is fun to put together but my experience wasn't that great. My kids and I followed the instructions and our crystals didn't grow.Now even though I didn't have a good experience, you all might because it is nice. The product gives you everything you need with cute little plastic pots to put your crystal flower in. Please don't be discouraged from buying the product because it is still a great product for family fun.I may have not had a good experience but I would still give the product a second chance.

My daughter and I had a good time with the process and were excited by the results. All of the crystal flowers came out a good, even size and look great! Only complaint is I would like the base to be heavier to support them against tipping.

Instructions are a bit confusing in some parts and you can tell English wasn’t the first language of whoever wrote them so they didn’t work for us the first time. We’ll try again with the other ones we didn’t do yet.

The grandkids loved this activity. I wish there were more activities included.

As long as you follow the instructions, this really works! I was very impressed and my daughter who is eight was so excited it did take us 48 hours to finish the whole process but that’s part of the fun with kids and the longer you leave them in there the bigger the crystals grow, but I was pleasantly surprised that it actually worked and she even took the extra crystals that grew to show & tell!

Great science experiment for any age

This certainly makes for a good gifting item and just because it is appropriately-priced but it is also easy to use and the results come out quite good as well. Al-in-all, a good deal!
