Fun for play
Perfect spear to play with. It’s the perfect length, it goes up to my face when standing. the foam on the tip of the spear is just right for being poked with and not hurting. the middle of the spear can be unscrewed and the bottom part taken off so that you could also use it as a short spear, which is super cool functionality. the shaft of the spear also has foam around it, one thing though is that the pole on the interior seems pretty hard and sturdy, so the shaft part wouldn’t be fun to be hit with, but i understand the manufacturers also needed something that wouldnt wobble or break. In all, it’s foam is soft, the pole is sturdy, the height is perfect, and you can even unscrew the pole to have a short spear!

Not bad! Fills the role I wanted it to
It is nice, the width feels nice and easy to get ahold of, the point has a bit of a warp but nothing that is troublesome to me personally. I plan to do some paint and such and it will be a real fine addition to any cosplay

Nice spear for cosplay, mock battles
Previously bought a cheaper hollow plastic spear. Not satisfied; too cheap, too light, too much flex. This mock spear has a little heft, metal fastener to break in half for storage. Spear has a rigid core but wrapped in foam, so much safer than using wooden shaft.

Not for training
I thought this was a training weapon but it is just a toy. Still fun.

Nicely Weighted, Also Great as a Base for Staves, Etc.
This 63" foam spear from Munetoshi is fantastic for cosplay or LARPing. The exterior is made from high-density, closed cell EVA foam padding, which is wrapped around a hard polymer core. This ends up giving you a spear that not only looks great, but also feels right in your hand. The shaft is firm and solid, so you can swing it around without worry, and even use it as a full contact LARP weapon. It's not so heavy as to be cumbersome, but it does have some heft and feels substantial rather than cheap or floppy. The details such as the spear head are simple, but nicely sculpted with no bubbles or flaws. The shaft can be separated into two pieces for more convenient storage/travel, with the two pieces held together firmly by a built-in screw mechanism when fully assembled. At just over five feet in length, it's perfectly sized for use as a spear, or as a base to build your own customized staves or pole-based weapons. If you do any amount of cosplay or LARPing, I would highly recommend picking up one of these. It's well made, looks great, feels great, and is ready to go as is, or can be used as a base for countless custom builds. When you factor in the overall quality and versatility, it's also a solid value. This is just such a perfect base for such a wide variety of items, I think most serious cosplayers or LARPers would love to have one of these in their arsenal. In my experience, items like this tend to become staples that see use in nearly every costume.

Pretty good quality
The staff has a nice soft handle & the tip is a pretty good quality of EVA foam . The staff where it screws together is pour quality never tightens up is wobbly & just ruins the rest of it being a good cos play item . Because can’t trust it staying together.

Awesome Spear
I got this spear to paint silver, and to cosplay as the Mandalorian. It turned out perfectly. The spear is super nice and the foam is a great quality that it took up to the abuse I put it through. I even let my kids play with it after, I was done with it and it still is holding together just fine. The quality of the spirit is great. I was a little nervous about it as I expected a low quality nerf product, but was happy to get this spear. It was very easy to assemble as all you had to do was screw the two pieces together and you were good to go. Painting it was easy as well as only did was use some silver spray paint. It attached to the spear pretty well and it looked really good for the cosplay.Overall, I’m very happy with the products and look forward to using it this Halloween for a similar costume. If you’re looking for a good spear to use for cosplay, or even to LARP with, I think the spirit would serve you well. The tip is pure foam, so it can bend if you thrust it into something a little too hard, but all you have to do is bend it back.
