Ok for the price but only if you need a temp statation
I just got this delivered today and tested it out and it works great the soldering iron heats up fast and has multiple tips to choose from and the tips I had from another one fits perfect. The hot air station heats up fast and is easy to set the fan speed. It also has a great sleep function and cools down fast. It works wonders to remove and add micro chips to circuit boards. It also comes with 5 different size air flow nozzles. Here is an update just before the new year, I turned the wand part of the MeFix 8898 rework station and got an H-E error. I have changed the heating element tip with the replacement that came with it and still get the same error. This item didnt come with a manual and one can not be found. When this item worked it worked great but it didnt even last an year.

Great value
This was my first rework station and I imagine it will be my last. I'm not a professional, just a novice. This does a great job, especially for the price. I understand more expensive models will have the variable speed for the air flow, however this seems to be an adequate amount of airflow to do most jobs. Both the soldering iron and the rework gun heat up very quickly. The only issue I have is that you have to take the rework gun out of the holder in order for it to heat up. It's fine, it's just a safety feature that I don't want/need.

Good 2 in one tool
I got this really because I needed a heat gun and the soldering Iron was a plus. It is all adjustable comes with different tips for both the heat gun and soldering iron. It worked well and I have used both now so it was a good purchase for me.

So helpful
Like the cost for the unit.been using and abusing this solder station. Has not let me down . Easy to use and maintain doest require lots of space. Came with back up heating elements for both the iron and the heat gun . 5 star for sure

solder hand piece
hot blow gun works great , but the soldering hand piece does not work it has a code H-E I even changed the heating element to see if that would solved the problem but it didn't so mose likely the hand piece is defected.

Algo básica, se apaga sola a cierta temperatura. Funcionará para cosas sencillas pero no sé le podrá exigir demasiado
