Comparing my 3 chef’s knives: Calphalon, Cutco and Liquidiamond
A chef friend of mine recently recommended I check out the Liquidiamond chef's knife as a more premium all-around knife for the kitchen. I have used pretty basic knives thus far. My wife and I have had a basic Calphalon knife since we got married 13 yrs ago. We were given a Cutco knife 3 years back as a gift. We bought the Liquidiamond knife a few weeks ago.I was skeptical at first but the Liquidiamond knife really is a premium knife! The knife is extremely well balanced. It is very comfortable in my hand. It is definitely a very sharp knife, and the liquidiamond material on the edge is a game changer.My Calphalon knife is old and really clumsy. The Cutco knife was definitely an upgrade from the Calphalon. And now we’ve finally reached the professional-quality level with the Liquidiamond knife.

Great Quality knife Recommend!
Received the knife very quickly. I was skeptical since it's a new knife company. It after I opened and and began to use it. It's a great knife for everyday use of chopping cutting etc. bald is very sharp but it's also very comfortable to use. It's one of those knives that just fits right in your hand and works without a hitch. Loved it so much I purchased one for my son who is a sous chef in a busy restaurant. His response was he loved it and said hat the knife is sharp as Sh%#. Thanks Liquid Diamond!

This knife is fantastic!
This knife is fantastic! It is VERY sharp and easy to hold. It is very comfortable in the hand and cuts and chops like no other knife I've ever used. The tip is super sharp and the cutting edge is great. The fact that it has an extended life and warranty is an added bonus. The knife comes beautifully packaged as well so it makes a great gift for the that chef in your life!

Very sharp
The media could not be loaded. Passes the paper cutting test with flying colors out of the box. Let's see how it wears. I was advised by the company to never hone it, but sharpen on 3000 grit whetstone for quick touch ups.

Best Knife I own.
A friend of mine couldn't stop talking about how great this knife was since he bought it. Being in the market for a new Chef's knife I figured I would give it a try. This is hands down the best knife I have ever bought. So much so I am going to be replacing my other knifes with more of them from liquiddiamond.

Hard Material
This knife is pretty sharp out of the box, although it doesn't have the edge that most of the VG10 Japanese knives has. It stays sharp through just about anything, including frozen bone. The only complaint that I have is that the stainless that most of the knife is made of is not scratch resistant at all. It is very soft, and easily mars and scratches. The label is completely gone on mine and it certainly doesn't shine like it did. The handle is excellent, the knife is light and well balanced. The shape is great, and it cuts well. I would like it more with a more tapered cutting edge, but other than that no complaints.

Good Balance and Stays Sharp for a Very Long Time
Great knife. I've had mine since 2015 and have only needed to sharpen it once. The knife is well balanced and it stays sharp for a long time. It doesn't seem to dull, but the edge will chip if you use it for chopping. I sharpened mine on water stones.
