can these be stacked one on top of the other?

Yes they appear to be able to be stacked when Filled with stone. The mfg claims they are stackable when filled. I did not need to stack mine but would if the situation requires stacking I would stack them.

This gabion cage get rust?

I have had mine for several years now, and it has not rusted. I’m very happy with mine.

Can I load from the top if I set this basket up vertical?

The top as pictured has no closure. If you turn it vertical there’s nothing to hold your rock in. Just order a vertical one.

Is this product shipped flat?
