Flavors Food Topper for Dogs, Peanut Butter Recipe, 3.1-Ounce

Our dog is 14 years old, and she has lost several pounds in the last year. She has a heart murmur and kidney issues, so she doesn't have much of an appetite. We tried a few different dog foods, but none of them made her want to eat enough. When I saw Basics Food Toppers on Amazon, I figured it was worth a try. She LOVES peanut butter, so that's the flavor we ordered. It definitely works. I mix it with water to make the gravy and stir it to coat all the kibble. She will return to her bowl throughout the day now and eat most, if not all, of what we feed her. She has gained a couple pounds in about 2 weeks' time. I'm go glad we found this product!

This comes in a convenient shaker for applying to food. However, we only tried using it once. After the first try, our poor puppo had some bad diarrhea. We can't be sure if it was from this flavoring or something else, but we weren't willing to experiment further. Just something to keep in mind if your dog has a sensitive stomach.

All 4 - of these food toppers have been such a big hit with my spoiled pug. He’s such a picky eater when it comes to kibble and these have helped him so much. I even had to buy a slow feeder to prevent him from gobbling everything up in a few minutes. Definitely recommend!

My dogs will eat if I put peanut butter on their food far more easily than with this product. They don't respond to it at all.

My dog can be a picky eater - she knows what she has isn't what I have! This helps, she loves the peanut butter flavor! It only takes a little bit mixed in and she eats the whole bowl. My only complaint, which isn't really a complaint, is it makes the bowl so dirty - if you don't wash it as soon as she eats it dries on hard and can be a little tough to get off without soaking - but it is worth it to get a picky eater to eat!

I had high hopes for this product as my dog is a picky eater and the product is all natural I sprinkled a little bit on her dinner and she ate it right up we did the same for her breakfast the next morning and within a couple of hours she was throwing it all back up. There is always the possibility that it was something else that made her sick but she has never gotten sick like that before so I don't want to chance giving it to her again.

My dog LOVES peanut butter, however, he turned his nose up at this. I sprinkled it on his food and he totally ignored it. I put real peanut butter in his food and that's all he ate. Glad I didn't waste too much money buying this product because he won't touch it.

Our 4 month old chihuahua mix puppy has not quite figured out what it means when its time to eat. Every meal is a chore that usually lasts upwards of 20 minutes to finish 1/3 cup of food....and thats usually with hand feeding by the end.Then introduce Flavors Food Topper (Peanut Butter). For the first time Mr Pickles had his nose down in his food and never looked up until it was gone and then only looked up as if to ask for more, It has been night and day difference getting this, and my other dogs to eat! I just placed an order for the 6oz 4 pack! Thanks for this product!
