Groomarang Silver Fox Instant Free Style Hair Styling & Colouring Wax Grey Temporary Dye

I bought this for the dreaded 100th day of school "dress up like you're 100 years old" shenanigans for my two young kiddos. First I tried applying only the tiniest bit, rubbing it between my palms as directed, on freshly dried hair, but the color was weak at best on my blonde and my dirty blonde kidlets. I applied a little more. I saw some grey show up, but the hair became absolutely sticky and impossible to work with. My kids were shrieking as I tried to gently maneuver their hair with my fingers, everything sticking together horrifically. I thought I'd try letting it dry and then maybe it would be easier to work with -- no go -- it just flaked off immediately if I could even get my fingers or a brush or comb in there. There may be some special technique to get this to work, but it's not a secret I know!At the end of the dreaded day, I slathered conditioner all over my little ones' hair, let it soak in and soften any remaining wax, then I brushed it through and rinsed before going for our usual shampoo and conditioner. At least it came out relatively easily in the end!

It's pretty cool and works as advertised for males, but I had seen similar products for much cheaper also advertised for women so I figured this would work for women as well. Not so much... It's basically just hair gel so on women your hair will clump up into one big dried, brittle mess. I guess it is advertised for men so if you're a dude or you have very short hair awesome I would get it for fun or maybe halloween, if you're not a guy or you have long hair I would recommend skipping this one.
