The remote control distance of 6-8 meters gives enough room to maneuver and explore. 🎮🔋Speaking of batteries, they're conveniently included in the package. The fly itself requires 3 LR44 batteries, while the remote control needs the same. We were pleasantly surprised by the battery life, as they lasted longer than we expected. This Bee comes packaged with instructions and batteries.The batteries are sealed in a separate wrapper so you just have to remove them and install them into the controller and Bee.The controller itself has a removable lid cover that when slid back shows the 2 control buttons. There is 1 button to make the bee go forward and 1 button to turn the bee right. So consequently if you want to turn left you have rotate the bee all the way round I presume just by increasing the power to one of the wheels.Detail on the Bee is very good and detailed. The wings are transparent and made of plastic so look like they will not break easily and are quite realistic.When controlling the Bee he moves forward at a steady pace, nothing quick although Bees aren't very quick anyhow. Additionally when he moves his legs move backwards and forwards as well which makes the Bee look much more realistic.I've used with my Cat around and he is very freaked out with it so for me it was worth getting already.I do think the £19.90 is a little steep although it is fun and if you have pet cats it will keep them entertained for a while.
