SAXX Underwear Co. mens Saxx Men's Platinum Boxer Brief

I was looking for the best underwear possible and while these were certainly pricey I decided that these would suit me nicely after looking at the reviews for Calvin Klein's similarly priced high end underwear and finding countless reviews claiming stitching quality was out the window. All my life before now I'd worn $5 3 packs of Fruit of the Loom and Hanes boxer briefs but grew tired of wearing through the stitching. I lead a fairly active lifestyle and found that all the seams would begin to give out after a 3-5 months. Not the end of the world as they were cheap to replace but they weren't the most comfortable things in the world either. I was very aware I was wearing them especially in tighter fitting pants and was not a fan of how they would ride up at times so I purchased three pairs of Saxx underwear. An Ultra, a Platinum, and a Quest 2.0. The good: Geez these things are comfortable. Literally the softest thing to ever touch my genitals. I often forget I'm even wearing them as they have not once caused me any discomfort. The ballpark pouch while initially off-putting has become yet another much appreciated feature. The thin material also prevents underwear lines from appearing in tighter fitting clothing. Several washes and wears in and they're just as soft as when I got them. They also seem to give me a higher degree of confidence. The bad: These do actually ride up at times slightly. The material is just not super rigid as to prevent itself from riding up when sitting. That said they are so soft I don't even notice it's happening. The material is also so thin it's not visibly noticeable when it's bunched up. The only reason I do notice is when I feel my jeans or slacks touching the underside of my thigh. A small annoyance but it's a problem I've had with every kind of underwear other than briefs so not to be unexpected.

I bought this underwear along with some calvin klein underwear and cariloha underwear. By far, this feels the nicest to wear. The softness of this underwear is comparable to the cariloha underwear (although I prefer this material slightly more), but the differences widen when comparing the way the fabrics are put together. This underwear doesn't make you feel the seams at all, and the way it hugs has the perfect amount of give! I've also noticed that this underwear is very good for working out in as well - it's been good in every use case of my life except for one - my calvin klein underwear looks better in my opinion. But this underwear isn't far behind in looks, and its comfort and utility is on a whole other level.

These bad boys are amazing and despite the price point, they are well worth it when it comes to keeping the bits and pieces all nice and comfy. Chafing anyone? Not with these luxurious bait and tackle tamers that is for sure. I can rest at ease with their full surround banana holster technology to keep me lifted and separated from my inner thigh. And might I mention I worked a full day in a rather warm and muggy climate and not once did I get 'swampy'. I will be buying more, maybe once a month but it will be mine.

I have several pairs of Tommy Johns and SAXX. Basic assessment is the at SAXX has the best fit but Tommy John has the best fly. If either company could combine the two, that is the only pair I would ever buy.

Not much of a review poster but these were good enough for the time it takes to write one. Really are the best I've ever worn. As close to wearing nothing at all I've ever felt. Really soft but still breathe and extremely comfortable. Only downside is the price. Ordered one pair to try and will be ordering more in the near future.

Saxx makes the most comfortable underwear I have ever worn. The material used in the platinum line is extremely soft. I used to wear only Ex Officio underwear (which are also very comfortable) until I found Saxx, now I won’t buy anything else.

I purchased these Platinum Boxer Briefs after being very happy with the "Vibe" line also from Saxx. I am a 37-38" waist, and I bought the Large in both product lines, following the sizing chart. The "Vibe" line underwear fit perfectly in a Large, but these "Platinum" are too big in a Large and give me a perpetual wedgie. I love the overall concept and function of these underwear, but be cautious on the sizing.
