Happy Classy Drop Spindle Bottom Whorl Yarn Spinning Hand Carved 12" Length

My honest opinions if you start spinning go ahead and buy a spinning wheel. I had this and it almost made me not want to spin ever again. I went ahead and ordered a wheel. I loved that and wasn't crazy about this so I gave my drop spindle away. My friend didn't like it ad gave it away as well. It worked ok.

Great for thin yarn

Arrived in two pieces as the glue that holds the rod to the weight seemed to have come apart. Can be fixed, but still very disappointed.

Nicely balanced and a good weight. In an era where there aren't a lot of bottom whorl drop spindles, I would recommend.

Excellent for beginners who are just learning. Not too heavy or too light, finish is smooth, very well built and durable.

While I am not knowledgeable about spinning fabrics, my wife was overjoyed with this spindle. She loves the heft and size of it and the adjustability of the whorl was a pleasant surprise.

works great, sturdy, good price. I prefer a spindle with the disk on the opposite end of the axle from the hook.

It has a nice weight and it definitely gets the job done for hand spinning my angoras fiber.
