I bought this scarf to use while mowing a large acreage in the Texas summertime heat. It's much more versatile than those polyester neck gaiters. This is 100% cotton, lightly but tightly woven, so it's the perfect fabric for hot summers. Drenched in ice water every few rounds, it cools and dries quickly. Very refreshing. It effectively blocks sun, wind, and sand and serves my purpose perfectly.
