I bought this to seal the ends of plastic bookmark holders filled with sequins and stuff. I tried the smaller handheld plastic bag sealers but they didn't work well and were a pain to use. This sealer made all the difference. Just plug it in - no waiting to warm up. Position the plastic and lower the handle until the light changes, leave it right there for a few more seconds and voila - done. No hot handle or heat strip to worry about before or after sealing. You may have to experiment a time or two to get the heat setting right for the thickness of your plastic. For my Photo Booth bookmark holders, I use it at a 4 or 4-1/2. Makes a nice straight seal that holds well and makes quick work of the sealing process.

Works as expected, no issues

I own 2 of these and I bought 6 more to give as gifts at Christmas. They are so handy for so many things. I have used mine to seal chip bags and marshmallow bags and other pantry items. I’ve also use it to seal Amazon return bags. I’ve used it to create small individual bags, from bubble wrap packing, to store Christmas ornaments in. I’ve used it to cut and reseal freezer bags into smaller bags to put snacks in for traveling. I’ve used it to seal liquids into plastic bags to put in my suitcase for flights so nothing spills into my clothes.

At first I thought I received a defective machine. But after looking closely at the heating element, I could see it wasn’t attached (not hooked onto the metal bit under it) on either end. The machine has instructions to easily disassemble and replace the element, so I was able to re-attach it, and now it works perfectly. It seals quickly and works on various bag thicknesses. Having the ability to adjust the heat is a big plus.

Love It!!! Using it for just about anything I can reuse in a bag. Keeps it fresh and from getting spilled just by folding it over or crunching it together. Also saves money on buying plastic ziploc bags.Recommend...

I've look at several brands and styles of heat sealers, and this model was really nice and was the same price, or less, than the other models. Way underrated, total work horse of a unit, just plug it in and go! Works on all types of bags, i needed a unit that would work on high heat plastics, the kind that get boiled: worked perfectly! Nice clean wide seam, every time. I tried it on thinner plastics and the got the same results. I see this unit as becoming an everyday essential in my kitchen. Thank you Jinhong for making a really nice product, customer for life! :)

The media could not be loaded. I bought it on February 28th I used it 20 times.Meaning 20 bags! And stopped working! No no thing. The red light turned on but no sealing bagas.I emailed the company but still no answer..Don’t buy it they don’t stand behind their product.

Love it and I can’t believe it took me this long to get one. Works very quickly and it makes a very faint sound. Seconds. It goes. Team steaming how and I haven’t gotten burned or anything but you can adjust temp.
