Small 8 oz boxes are easy to store. I see them useful in RVs, camping, or hurricane/storm supplies. The boxes seem sturdy but I wouldn’t stack too much weight on them. I can not comment on taste or thirst quenching use because I have not used one or them yet.

I bought these to replace the ones that i bought 5 years ago, which recently expired. I'm not exactly sure how water expires, however. These fit well in an emergency backpack, and I've never had one leak.

Honestly, these are perfect for either. This is my second time buying Aqua Blox. Had to dump out the expired set from five years ago. But just for yucks, I decided to taste them before I watered the plants with it. Tasted awesome! Even the boxes from the BOB’s that live in our cars. So very happy that Amazon is stocking it again!! Having been born and raised in the US Army, I’m an accidental prepper. Everywhere we lived, I had C-rations under my bed, a rope ladder by the window and a BOB. Dad taught me you can last a long time without food but not water. That’s why we carry just enough water (it's heavy) till we can find more water. So my job was to swap out the canteen water in the BOB’s regularly. Still doing it today, but with Aqua Blox.

Got these for our 'bug out bags' and they arrived securely wrapped and leak-free. The boxes are basically water filled juice boxes we used to pack for our little kids. Chose these over the pouches because of comments that the water would taste "plasticy'. I'm assuming that won't be the case with these. Once we hit the 5 year expiration mark I'll go ahead and have the family guzzle these down after we get our replacements and report back on the flavor. But if I were a betting man I'd bet that the water would taste just as clean and flavorless as what comes our out water filter. Happy customers so far and will update review if we ever have to use them. Might not matter by then though because there won't be internet or Amazon. Glad we have these just in case. Very happily prepared customers!
