Once Upon A Broken Heart Paperback – 30 June 2022

My highest-rated read to date; I thoroughly enjoyed the story, and it arrived in excellent condition🌸💕

The media could not be loaded. OK, so I am 13years I read it when I was twelve, one month ago, so basically in the beginning it was slow, really slow, so slow that I left it on my freaking shelf for 2 weeks, after that I really loved it (jacks), so I picked up and boom!! Finally jacks!! So after that I fell I'm love with it(jacks) I read the book because of jacks, the prince of hearts. I bought it because of him. And what I feel is thar the hype is jacks, without jacks this book will be okayish.So I really loved the book the small moment with jacks and evangeline meant a lot to me.Go on, buy it. But believe me buy it only if you like jacks.

The book came in perfect condition! And about the book if you are someone who loves fantasy I would recommend you to go ahead and read it ,the book is written so well. Worth the purchase!

But sadly, I didn't enjoy the book as much.It seemed as if the author had just picked up parts and pieces from different fantasy series and created a khichdi out of it. I can very clearly point out the numerous scenes that were a rip off from Harry Potter or Twilight or The Vampire Diaries, to name just a few. Also, why does every YA fantasy hero have to be an orphan? Evangeline has to be the most stupid optimist out there with zero pragmatic sense. I mean I get that it's fantasy, but the characters atleast were human and Evangeline's personality was not human like at all. She took 400 pages to figure out something that was so obvious from the beginning itself.Needless to say, the lack of originality and the improbable characters and names of characters made this book quite annoying to me. I would however recommend this book for small kids, like pre-teens, but no-one beyond that. It's an okay book to read if you're new to fantasy, but if you've been reading this genre for quite some time now, then I'm not sure you'll enjoy it as much.

The first part of the 'Broken Heart' series by Stephanie Garber is really impressive! And this is my first fantasy fiction book I'm reading, and it's AMAZING! The story of Evangeline Fox and the Prince of Hearts, and the setting in the imaginary Magnificent North, is absolutely exquisite. Looking forward to read the other two books of this series ! 😄

personal favorite. the characters are super cool. I LOVE JACKS SMMMM. hes the coolest mmc ever. ive seen a lot of controversy abt the fact that evangeline is kinda dumb and stuff. tbh yeah, but thats js bc we've normalised having female protagonists as megaminds. shes just realistic tbh. also the books plot twists r predictable af, so there's that. but at the end of the day, good book.
