Ok so first off, my bottles came with a 2 on the calorie count, not zero as advertised in the photos. Not a big deal, but the photos need to be accurate. 2 calories per spray is no big deal. Secondly, I could see how some people may think the flavor is bland. If you want it like the movies, you have to lightly salt. Movie theater butter has a saltiness to it. When I use unsalted butter at home for my air popped popcorn, the flavor is very light, until it's salted. That's how salt works, it makes sweet things taste sweeter (flaky salt on chocolate chip cookies) and it brings out the butter flavor of this spray. Some people don't like to salt their popcorn, and I think it will be fine on its own for people who don't salt. When I used melted salted butter at home, I don't add any salt because it's perfect the way it is. This spray tastes like unsalted clarified butter, which is a light flavor. If you want the buttery flavor to come out more, bust out a little salt! Just purchased a popcorn cart and this will be a permanent accessory!

Love this product, I recently stopped using the prepackaged microwave popcorn which is pre-flavored. I use a silicone bowl and do it myself minus all of the chemicals. This seems to be a healthy option and is low in calories. It tastes great alone or with a popcorn seasoning. It distributes perfectly on your popcorn and doesn't spray all over like other brands because the aerosol is too small. The only reason for the 4 star is it is expensive and doesn't last very long for me.

I always buy this spray butter. This last order had very little flavor . I shook the can more than I usually do since it had no flavor. Didn’t seem to help

We have a tradition of movie night Fridays and popcorn is a must. Unfortunately, we are also dealing with a variety of food allergies, including dairy and sunflower, which has made it difficult to find a good tasting popcorn topping. This doesn’t taste like melted butter but rather like the liquid topping you would find at a movie theater. We’ll make a batch of popcorn, give it a few sprays from this, sprinkle salt on top, and it’s the perfect addition to our movie nights. We bought the two pack at the beginning of July, have used it once a week since then, and just now - in the middle of December - we have used up the duration bottle and have opened the second. The spray isn’t like a spritz but more of a continuous spray and never had an issue with it clogging. Will definitely be buying again!

What a huge disappointment. I ordered this mostly based on the reviews. Either what I received is completely different than everybody else had or we just have very different tastes. I really don't get much if any butter flavor on my popcorn and getting it on the popcorn is ridiculously hard. It does not spray it dribbles out maybe a drop at a time. I won't be buying this again.
