Great support tool!!!!
This book is very complicated and deep. I got this to help main as he struggled with the assigned reading at school. This graphic novel does a very good job at presenting the concepts in a very high-level text. I even found it really helped me with my struggling to understand this particular book.

This version is disheartening
I was very excited for this graphic version of Sophie's World as it would be a great read for young ones. Something unbiased and historically based for a younger mind. Once I reached around page 60, the newer author provided us a front row seat into current politics- which is perfectly fine, however the approach was disappointing. The term "ultracrepidarians" was defined and used to discourage thought beyond what one knows. The book further encourages thought to be outsourced to experts as the author stated, it is "hard to think". The author goes on to explain that relevant opinions are mixed up with irrelevant ones, and people do not know who to trust anymore. It is possible true ancient philosophers would be mortified knowing young minds are being told to outsource their ponderings. Roger Bacon, English philosopher (1220-1292) once said, "More secrets of knowledge have been discovered by plain and neglected men than by men of popular fame. And this is so with good reason. For the men of popular fame are busy on popular matters."

Why!?
Nothing wrong with the book , the problem is with the delivery. First time that I get a damaged book. A graphic novel as well…
