The ingredients gives my dog a beautiful shine and it proves effective in a matter if days. I add the tasty powder to my dogs meals and he enjoys the added taste and smell.

It is pure egg shell powder with no additives of any type. I make homemade dog food and it is imperative to balance the phosphorus content of the meat protein with the proper amount of calcium, which is normally 1/2 teaspoon of calcium to one pound of protein. This egg shell powder is not affected by heat during cooking the food and does not clump during storage in a cabinet. It does not need to be refrigerated after opening...Just have a set of the tiny measuring spoons for amounts less than 1/4 or 1/8 teaspoon onhand in case you need to measure very small amounts of the egg shell powder. I have several sets of ones that are 1/8,1/16, 1/32, and 1/64 teaspoons, and you'd be amazed how often they come in handy since I have small dogs who require small amounts of various supplements for their health in their home made, all human grade food.

I home cook for my dogs. I needed a supplement I could add to my ingredients before cooking n crock pot. I add this and can control how much calcium is added per batch. Directions are clear on the container. My dogs work ups at vet have been perfect for calcium levels. Highly recommend if homeccooking for your pets

Up until I received this product, I was making my own calcium, which can be a tedious process and requires lots of egg shells. This product is every bit as good as what I was making! I love the little spoon provided - nice touch. I look forward to continuing purchasing this product, as I prepare homemade meals for our adopted furkids.

This seems like it will be a good product for the money there seems to be no smell or taste. Put right over the top of her food. but they’ve only been on it one week time will tell.

I'm making home made dog food for my little girl because of the rise in dog cancer which I'd be willing to bet is because of the crap they put in kibble. From saw dust to crushed animal bone, there's no telling what their recipe is that they burn to form these kibbles. I add about a tablespoon of this calcium and a pinch of love to the big batch of food I make to give her some more added years on earth with us. There's all types of calcium out there but make sure it's safe for dogs like this product.

Using this product to add calcium to my growing puppy’s homemade food. He eats it easily and quickly with no hesitation or problems. I feel comfortable that this has only one ingredient, eggshells. It is a very very fine powder that distributes on top of his food without clumps and bumps, I am very happy with This product.
