Q: Does this darken significantly?

None of my boots darkened using this. I put in on Redwing and Whites boots. This is the reason I bought it. The lotion gives a nice light luster to soften the leather a little.

They are both fine for chromexcel.

Q: What is the difference between venetian shoe cream and venetian imperial leather balm? are they from the same company?

They are from the same company. Nobody is releasing MSDS information to confirm the ingredients, unfortunately, so we don’t actually know what the difference is. The balm feels a little thicker.

Q: Is it normal to see separation(upon delivery)? Should I return this and get a new one?

Did you find that it worked well after separation? Ours arrived with a large solid chunk and white liquid surrounding. Hoping it’ll still work well.
