This book really helps me to conjugate verbs. I especially like that it covers all tenses.

German is not easy. This is the least painful version in the pursuit of German.

I checked out the book „German Verb Tenses“ by the same author, Astrid Henschel, from the library and liked it so much, I came to order it on Amazon. It suggested this book as a newer version and I ordered it. It is not the same book. It’s half the size, with slightly different excercises. I’m keeping both as I like them. If I was to only have one, I would go with the other book, the one I mentioned above, the verb tenses.In addition, I heartily recommend Nico‘s Weg online. It doesn’t take the place of the necessary worksheet work. It’s a helpful addition in that you get to hear German, it’s free and interactive.
